Thanks Lisa, really pleased with him. He's got a great character. After a few days he came right out of his shell, he's got loads of energy. Can't wait to get him out and about. Hopefully he'll be pointing pheasant by the time i come down to the shoot again!!

This is Travis at 9 weeks, he's from Lisa and Les at Mustwork GWPs. Made up with him, just getting to know him, but I'm sure he's going to be a good working dog after seeing Lisa and Les' other dogs in action on the shoot.

Have a look at the Mustwork German wirehaired pointers.I have just got my 7 week old Wire from them...Lisa and Les just want to breed the best working wires they can!!Will post pics asap.

Mustwork bitch Taz had a litter today...so i now have my name down for a dog pup...Dam(Tynsil Trondela to Mustwork (TAZ) and sire(Wiggmansburg Geraimt Vom Mustwork (ben). !!.

I do so many types of shooting...wildfowling to pigeon shooting...pest controll to driven shoots!!.I think thats why the gwp will be best for me!!.Thanks for all your help and info Kiwi .

Looking at a pup from Mustwork gwps,The dogs are worked on a shoot every day as the breeders are also game keepers.They have also said GWP will do anything you ask of them!!!.

Have heard they are excellent all rounders and have loads of bottle!!.What are they like to train!!??.

Hello!!. Can people please give me..info,pics and opinions on this breed.Looked at all the HPR breeds and the GWP seems best suited to my shooting and life style.Spoke to a few breeders and they have been really helpful but would just like to hear from people who work this breed day in,day out!!.Thanks for any info guys!!.

I think its such a shame that so many breeds of terriers from the UK are not geting the chance to do what they where originally bred to do,Manchester,Norwich,Dandie dinmont,Cairn, Glen of Imaal, Norfolk,Wire haired fox,Welsh,Scottish,Skye,Sealyham.I think breeders and owners of these breeds should be more aware of the breeds heritage and working backround.Most of these breeds are now treated no different to lap dogs and i think its a sad thing to see!!.

Has any one ever had a Kc dog not from working backround turn out to be a good worker!?.I know a Welsh terrier breeder who only ever shows her dogs let one go out with game keeper to see how it got on and it took to working fox like a duck to water!!.Game keeper was very impressed seen as it was only a show dog!.Do you think a kc dog can make good working dog given the correct training and time!?.

Any one in North Wales,Cheshire area need extra man with shotgun not a bad shot ethier lol!!.Would be very gratefull if any one could get back to me.I understand about people being weary on here but please pm if you have any Q.I do have shotgun license and a Terrier that does hunt well!!.Thanks for any help peolpe!!.
