A real good terrier bitch worth breeding from is hard to come by so a game bull bitch is the next best thing in my opinion as a base line.Id much rather have a litter out of a first rate game bullbitch than a second rate terrier bitch.Its easy get on your soapbox when your fortunate to come across a good terrier bitch to take a line from but sometimes you just have to work with whats available and take stepping stones to get where you want to go.

33lb would be a beast of a fox,biggest Ive seen and caught was a 22 1/2lb and he was a good fox.The ones that gave my dogs the biggest chewings have been wee 13lb vixens full of venom. -

cheers mate the we dog was breed in N.irland wer broght him in at 12mont hs old out of good working stuff mate Looks like he's down from that SPUD dog that was in armagh,paddy O had the dog,nice animal either way. Genuine dog by all accounts,dug to him once or twice.

Anybody used a site recently for prazivet? I used to get them from Vetorder.com and Animalpharmacy.com but both have shut down.Am looking a site that someone has used recently and the tabs have been OK. Cheers.

Old news too many Im sure,I just found out tonight that Liam Clancy of The Clancy Brothers died on Dec 4th 2009.Im as saddened by his death as I have been of close friends and think he is a great loss to this island and to Irishmen of all persuasions.I was born and grew up on his music,grateful for it and glad to have lived in his era.

I only published it. Nothing else. I have made it abundantly clear i dont know anything about these types of working dogs. If you don't like the books then please don't buy them. Good Hunting..JD im not saying i dont like the books..i have only seen the four terrier books which i have here..they are good books,dont be so defensive darcy No probs, You have to be defensive!!lol I know the books are far from perfect, but i hope to improve them shortly now that i know what direction i need to go in. A dog that I heard about, that is rated as one of best theyd ever seen, was a dog that was supposed to staff/lakeland/greyhound.Meant to have killed foxes for fun.

I bred a litter a few months ago of a bitch who is just now turning 10.She had 8 pups all alive and well and reared them the best,she had been bred from before though.Problems with breeding can occur with a dog at any age although I appreciate probably more so in an old dog.Theres always a risk incurred in breeding.
