well ive had bulls around me most of my life and my kids have, there 100% workers and 100% loyal to there keepers i don't think you ask any more than that from a dog. ive also had a bedlington whippet x from one of the best men in the game Gorge Kelly from the brown hills in the west mids. as far as rabbiting goes that dog was 100% but when it came to fox he just didnt have the power or weight. i also found with the bedlington they seem to be a bit yampy and they yap to. now the bulls are nice and steady and you don't here a thing out of them. for me bullx all the way, but please n

i think your right you do get more range with the amber, also foxs and rabbits stand out better as well, this must make it easier for the dog to see and work, i think its a big plus

HI ALL for the last week or so ive been trying out some new filters on my lamp, and i must say there working very well, foxs and rabbits don't seem be put off by them at all, i would go as far to say there better than the standard red one most of us go for. please let me know if you have used or are useing a different colour filter on your lamp, and how is working for you. thanks all the best lee

fox dog in the makeing, tilly as a pup now she is 14months old and takeing foxs for fun.

bitchs 23" to 24" and dogs 25" to 26" thats what i find makes a good all round working dog. you will also find that deppending on where folk liv i.e the ground layout on where they run there dogs will have a big impact on the dogs size. so if you liv in the fens, a nice big dog would work good there because he has the time and room to work his quarry. but if you are working down in the midlands, folk seem to go for a bit smaller dog because of the lack of space.

not as gutted as me he was the sire of my pups, all that just for a fecking rabbit and as for the work the dog did, it was the best thing ive sin in a long time. the moment i put eyes on the dog i new he would be something special thats y i got him over my bith a soon as i could.

hi jay well from what i can work out the por fecker hit some fram tack that had been left out in the field, they got him back and all he had was a small hole by his sholder, they did no more picked the big boy up and took him to the vets at some mad time in the morin, the vet said he will be ok his just had a knock but im going to keep him over night and come and get him next morin, well by the time 4 / 4.30 came the por fecker was no more. i think it was more to do with the vet than the dog, all i can say is its a good job his not my vet because he would be in the same way as the
