    Hi i am trying to get used to it for future african hunting,but there are some guys here using 375H&H for bear and moose hunting. anyway a solid hit from the 6,5x55 will do the same job if the bear is not wounded and charging! regards dan_hunter

    thanks trappa it is about the same here in sweden the minimum caliber is 222 rem for roe deer ,but other deers are hunted by minimun 140 grain bullet and 2000 fpe energy at muzzle. I assume muntjac is much lesser animal than roe deers . is there anywhere too hunt rabbit and other smal games against daily paying in sussex area? regards dan_hunter

    Hi missie glad to hear from lady hunters. I wish my wife was a hunter, but she is against hunting and makes my life niserable what about hunting rabbit and other small games nearby horsham?( what could be hunted legaly from mid-august to sept), yes me too I would not geopardys a nice dog 's life for catching a deer specially a deer with tusks regards dan_hunter

    hi Dnn thanks for your reply. i 'll visit my daughter and grandson in horsham this summer and i am going to miss my roe hunting season in sweden(it begins 14 aug). I thought it would be nice to hunt in england . i like my customized 6,5x55 -but if the permission takes time . i may hunt with landowner's rifle. what about other small games like rabbit hunting? i want to learn my grandson how to hunt he is like me a hunter born. unfortunatly my british son in law is not hunter and don't know about hunting regards dan_hunter

    few years ago I run a test on factory loaded 6,5x55 cartridges and 155 grain mega was realy great. being not a bonded bullet it surprised me a lot. it was one of a few bullets that i couldn't never have a core -mantel separation even shooting at hard dry paper with 1 inch hard wooden board in front of it .. it is realy a tough bullet but , it works even for shooting roe deer very well. good luck brother in 6,5x55 . nice to hear that 6,5 x55 is even used in Africa. regards dan_hunter

    Hi i may visit my grandson living in england between 16 and 30 august. I will hunt muntjac if the hunting season is oppen during my visit and be very happy if you tell me about short time hunting possibilities in sussex. which kind of weapon is legal for muntjac?. do a 22lr or 410 slugs are legal or i have to bring something heavier like my 6,5x55? best regards dan_hunter

    hi I have used lapua mega in my 6,5x55 for many years. excellent bullets. better is hard to find in factory loaded 6,5x55. many hunters use this combination for yearly moose hunt with great result. cheers daniel

    Hi my name is Daniel.
