north wales terrier and lurcher club

I can clear up any confusion here terrier 2. The terrier that qualifies for The Five Nations International Working Terrier Championship is The entered class winner from Neilston show, Chirk show, Shanes castle show, Birr show. Harewood entered winners from both days go head to head to decide the champion from there. Finally the overall champion of champions from EDRD. The open show champion does NOT qualify for this championship. You must win entered classes at the above shows to go through. There has been confusion in the adverts but hopefully thats sorted. Hope this h -

Hi I am currently looking for some people who must be able to handle birds of prey with confidence. The people in question must be availablle on either 30th of may,31st may or both those dates. They will be required to marshall the Falcon time trials at The Yorkshire Game fair. This could be all day or half a day or a couple of hours. The choice is yours. Some people who have entered cannot get anyone to release or maybe catch their birds so being able to take the bird, also there will be stewards needed to be in the secure mews area. Lunches, tickets and free camping etc will be given. pm m

a rise in bull terrier numbers
forrest replied to samstorm's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Timid Toad your spot on there S are you suggesting that Lurcher shows should add whippet, saluki, greyhound, deerhounds to lurcher shows because surely there are pedigree kennel club shows for pedigrees which crossbreds and lurchers are not allowed to attend. So by the same token there must be shows for you pedigree bull breeds, thats including the shows mentioned above that also put on extra classes or special bull events. It seems your getting the same crack of the whip as everyone else. -

The Yorkshire Game Fair has a any other terrier not previously mentioned on their terrier schedules and i think EDRD has one too and the classes winner is eligable for the final.Last year there was a westie and an ebt in the class. http://www.hdfairs.co.uk/yorkshire_terrier_show.html -

forrest replied to mickb's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
This dog theft problem is getting out of control.Yorkshire seems to be particularly bad at the moment. Its about time it was treated as a serious problem.I feel bad for those who dont get them back,i was one of the lucky ones.My bitch was sold back to me,she was a mess but at least i got her back. -
Bitches for me.They just seem so much quicker on the uptake and less distracted.Seasons can be a pain though,we have the neighbourhood stray camped outside in the front garden as we speak and my bitches go mental.

Has anyone used landywood feeds
forrest replied to Kay's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
I would never use Landywoods ever again.First few orders were fine then the standard dropped quickly.I sent two orders of chicken back,it was going green and it stank. They also charged my card without asking for a load of crap chicken that i sent back. Also left an order out in the sun after delivering a day early. I changed to TPMS after someone recommended them and i have never had a bag thing from TPMS.Their meat is always fresh, not smelly and packed properly and also looks like minced meat and not mush like landywoods was. -
We had two incidents last year at the same spot while ferreting. First was a Loony woman with a dancing collie dog who came and stood right next to us while ferrets were down,we put our dogs on their leads as the collie was nipping at them.I asked her to control her dog,she said she was ringing the police as she new we were Hare coursing and that she was reporting us for threatening her and her dog.The police came and two young coppers came, who also didnt know the difference between a Rabbit and a Hare either. The landowner had by this time made his way over, explained to the police what was go

I would never ever go with the AA again. On the three occasions that i have broken down in the works van,the AA have been totally crap. They left me stranded for 6 hours the first time, then it took 5 seperate vehicles to relay me home from Berwick to Yorkshire. The second fiasco was from Aberdeen to Yorkshire which was 13 hours and 7 vehicles. The third was a roadside repair that took them 3 hours to get too. The biggest laugh was the Aberdeen run i had only been in the recovery vehicle 10 minutes and the driver stopped for a 45 minute break. Only a week ago the AA left a woman, her mother
