  7. Hi mate i cant really speak from having the experience of owning a bull cross but i believe that every dog be it a lurcher, terrier or any other dog which is used for work has their own time frame of when they are ready to go,so i would give her a bit more time and let her develope as she is still young and a lot of people get eager to get them working especially if they are going out with people who have dogs that are working,I have a collie greyhound hancock bred and she did'nt take alot of work to get her going but collies are known for being intelligent anyway as you well know so i would'nt
  8. hi mate glad you agree, I pity the people who travelled a long way and expected a bit more from a B.A.S.C SHOW.
  9. Did anyone go to the usk gamefair today if they did what did you think ? I thought it was a load of rubbish this year and a complete waste of an entry fee which i dont mind paying if the shows are worth it but i didnt feel that it was a good fair this year and probably wont go again, the only good thing about the day was the weather which was fantastic.
  10. hello mate my uncle kept and used ferrets for years and his method of tick removal was to smother the ticks in liquid paraffin which u can buy quite cheap from pharmacists and it worked wonders for him.
  11. Its not the biggest show and not really on the same scale as the welsh gamefair, but its not a bad day out depends really on what you want out of a show or gamefair and obviously how far you have to travel.

  14. HI Mate... Looking on my experience in the UK, my opinon is that if you are looking for a general all round terrier Jack russells from a good proven working strain would be your best bet, as most Jack russells tend to be sensible bayers, even though you do get the odd hard one. It depends on the end result after you have got your quarry, if you are looking to dispatch it yourself or if you are looking for the terrier to dispatch it, in that case you are looking for something a bit harder, then I would suggest in investing in some good patterdales. I have terriers of both breads but at the end
