    i certainly wouldnt be putting oil inside a mod on a centrefire you will end up with a big bang!! i'm no gun expert but, it was advice given to me by someone who has had guns along time, and i dont plaster it in heavy oil, just spray it out with WD40, and been doing it since i've had it,which has gotta be around 8 years now, and had no problems, so cant be a bad thing, but your entitle to your opinion, cheers, jay,

    thats a bit naughty mate......i have one of these on my .222, and fingers crossed i havent had any trouble with it yet, but have heard of a few cases where the moderator has rusted from the inside out, which is bad news...... when i get home after useing mine i always take it off the rifle and give it a good spraying with oil inside and out, all the best, jay.

    might seem a strange question to some of you......but, just out of interest, and a little something different.......... how do you all give your dogs worming tablets, do you have to disguise them in some food, or are your dogs happy to take them as they are ? mine are nightmares when it comes to giving them tablets, and they always seem to know when somethings up.......lol, so i have to coax them to take them with a bit of food, (suasage, cheese,or anything different), cheers, jay.

    i,m a weekender.......lol, and my drink of choice is a cold bottle of brains SA GOLD.......... and it slips down lovelly, if i cant get my hands on those, a couple of bottles of the brains DARK will do........... .take some beating these do..... all the best, jay.

    i do believe that the man behind the name oldmansballbag is also known as gamekeeper john, and he really does make some cracking catapults, which i think are well worth the twenty pound what he usually charges for them, he has is own catapult forum, where you can buy his cattys, and he sometimes sells his catapults on ebay, cheers, all the best, jay.

    thanks very much for your time and the trouble to find out about the rifle, and it sounds like a cracking deal........but i think i will go for a .177 calibre, i used to be .22 minded before, but was coverted a few year ago by a mate and i have never gone back.....lol, cheers, all the best, jay.

    cheers for replies........ apparently they are supposedly called the rolls royce of springers, and it certainly felt smooth when i shot my mates the other day, and that aswell as how good they look is what sucked me into them, but they are pricey at £440 for gun only and for an extra £50 or £60 pound you can have the walnut stock, which could be tempting........ it might mean a sweet little chat to her indoors is on the cards........lol all the best, jay.

    i was just wondering what peoples opinions are of the airarms prosport......i already have 2 other airguns, airarms s400 in .177, and a weirauch hw98 also in .177, but i had a look at a mates prosport the other day and had a shot of it, and really liked it, so i am considering treating myself again....lol, to one of theses prosports, i know the write ups and reviews are good on these rifles, but after all they would be because they need to sell them, so are they really worth the money and as good as they say they are ? cheers, atb, jay.
