  2. I take it you want to fly the spar at maggies........ a mate of mine used to just feed his spar's up on food which had magpie wings attached to it, he never used to feed them a whole magpie, and he never had any problems...... all the best, jay.
  3. how have the rats got into your kitchen, and how many rats have you seen ??? have a look around the outside of your house, you could well have a broken vent, or an old waste pipe that hasn't been blocked, and the rat has found its way in, the problem might only be just the one rat..... all the best, jay.
  4. have a look at a nikko sterling gameking, nice little scope, and it has illuminated recticle, red and green, pick one up for £120........ i have one on one of my airguns and it serves its purpose,.......,dont get me wrong..... there are better scopes out there, but it boils down to the fact you get what you pay for.........just my opinion, all the best, jay.
  5. I got to be honest.....being a hunt show, and a show that has been going for a while, I would have thought there would have been a better turn out of terriers, and bigger classes than there were, seemed to be struggling on the Russell classes, border, and bedlington classes, some of them only had one or two terriers in them, patterdale classes were a little better though............and the weather was shit....... all the best, jay.
  6. hats off to this man and his dogs I say....... he gets results, and I think he's been in the game long enough to know what is required in the animals he owns and works, to please himself, not anyone else, which is all that matters..... everytime his name or his dvds gets a mention on here, people jump in with the bull cross this, bull cross that talk, give the man credit for what he does, because i'm sure he does a lot more than most on here, and doesn't brag about it. all the best, jay.
  7. i'm after a couple of stop nets, 12...15yards long, any ideas as to where's the best place to get them???? preferably with the poles......... cheers, jay.
  8. thought i'd put this on here, because I have seen in the past that some people are on the lookout for the old b&f collar case...... so for anyone who might be interested....... there is a clear plastic collar case for the old style b&f collar for sale on ebay now, with 3 days to go, all the best, jay.
  9. next obstacle is the myxy......... I always find you get a good show of rabbits in certain areas, and things start to look good for a good season, then the dreaded M word shows up.
  10. I do believe the 1.3 is the fiat engine........., and is chain driven......... I have the combo crewvan with seats in the back, 1.7cdti, tidy little motor, only had it about 2 months, so cant really give a good description on how reliable or fuel efficient it is yet, but cheap to tax at £140 a year, and around £300 a year to insure, all the best, jay.
  11. I do believe that blinddate off this site is the man behind landmark films, try pm'ing him and see if he can give you some information....... all the best, jay.
  12. its in a different place now to where it used to be, I went last year, weather wasn't the best, and didn't really think a lot of it to be honest, if your going for the terriers, showing is on the sunday only, its around £12.50 per adult to get in, or family ticket 2 adults and 2 children £30, all the best, jay.
  13. I got a pair of barr and stroud 8x42 sahara binoculars payed £60 new from ebay, real good quality for the money, and ideal if your starting out, wide field of view, and clear view through the glass, plus there waterproof, and shock proof, worth a look to get you started, all the best, jay.

I've had problems getting logged in, wouldn't accept my password, so went through procedure to get a new password, which was all numbers, tried to change it when I finally logged in and it wont let me change my password now to something that I can remember, bit of a nightmare really, as i'm not the best on a keyboard........lol. cheer, jay.
  15. hi bootsha, as lilpip has already said, mr welsh egg down in Caerphilly always got a few khaki cambels down there, failing that, try, pen Rhiw garn poultry sales, they are based in llangynidr crickhowell, I have had birds of them in the past, always got a good selection there, because they are the poultry organisers of ross bird sales, they have a website, just type in google, poultry dealers south wales, all the best, jay.
  16. make them yourself mate, its not as difficult as you think, and I should imagine theres a video on youtube that demonstrates it, all you need is some decent leather and a hole punch and a sharp blade, I know its only a small, and fairly cheap piece of equipement if you were to buy them, but you will get more satisfaction knowing that you made them, or I would anyway......just my opinion, all the best, jay.

  19. i'm looking for a carp and coarse fishing holiday to take my lads a little later in the year, a decent place, in a nice quiet peaceful setting in the uk, was wondering if any of you on here can point me in the right direction??? cheers, jay.
  20. sorry to hear that bob, strange one that......... I suppose if you wanted to be certain there are no more pups there, you could get her scanned, but i'm no expert......, but would have thought that once a cycle had started (as in going into labour and having contractions) I would have thought that everything that was there waiting to come out, would have come in time......just my thoughts, hope the bitch is ok, all the best, jay.
  21. alright bob...... i'll be breeding mine as soon as my jill comes in to season fully, she's a bit later this year coming in, your welcome to take a few of them if you want, and you know they work........lol all the best, jay.
