    I've got an Air Arms S400 carbine, .177cal, simmons scope, bottle and gauge, excellent condition, looking for £350, but your probably a bit to far and more likely to find something nearer, all the best, jay.

    I use URAD JOJO wax, really good stuff, waterproofs the leather and keeps it supple and in condition, its around £10 a tub.

    I think your talking about Maria sharp...... she had the Rhozzum line, a mate of mine had two borders from her that were only bought as pets, but whenever he took them out they were always busy and put themselves about a bit and always found something to keep themselves occupied.........

    I've got an S400 carbine, in .177 cal, excellent condition, with scope and divers bottle with gauge.

    nearly new S & B 8x56, 30mm tube, was only on rifle for a month, as new condition, £400.

    can't really say much about the altbergs, I've never had them.........but I've got the lowa's and had them years and rate them highly and the wife has just bought me another new pair, I think the main thing is looking after them and keeping them well polished and treated with wax or dubbing, you wont go wrong with them and bang on straight out of the box..........

    I think you can buy antler from attleborough accessories for stick making, also there is a place called highland horn, if you google it you should get it up....... all the best, jay.

    i'm no expert on training spaniels.......but I would have thought you should get the pups recall mastered first and getting it to stop when you command it to....... so you have at least some control over it when you take it out.......then progress from there, the pup needs to respond to your commands and I do believe the sharper the response the better...... just my opinion,,,,,,,, all the very best with your training, jay.

    I don't see why a patterdale wont do what you want it to do....... a mate of mine has two patts that he uses for ferreting, they bush and mark rabbits really well and also steady on a bury watching nets, good at the ratting game aswel, a patt might have a tendency to drop in somewhere unexpectedly......, but that can happen to any working terrier worth its salt....... as long as you know the ground that you are going to be working him on, you'll know where he can run free or not, if going to ground is your worry, i'd be thinking of staying away from terriers.......just my opinion.
