If your interested.....and want to breed a few for yourself, I can let you have a working polecat Jill.....shes around 3 to 4 year old can have the odd nip if she's having a grumpy day......i took her in off someone end of last year she does work and has bolted rabbits for me through the season.....im in no rush to get rid but would happily help you out..... If you travel about I'm South east Wales.........

Thanks for reply mate.... No the vets is not a greyhound vet just the run of the mill..... The welfare of my animals comes first and always have done but I begrudge paying for a vet to go on a nice holiday just because they think they can cash in on someone....I am getting a second opinion, I've arranged to see someone the weekend..... So fingers crossed they can give me the true outcome of what to expect....I'm not bothered if the bitch doesn't run again as long as she's ok in herself. Cheers All the best ?

The bitch is 5 year old so not a youngster....perhaps for me if she was 2 year old, just getting going and had another good few years in front of her I'd look at it a bit different but at 5 she's only going to to start to slow up in the next couple of years anyway..... Would anyone with experience of running dogs be able to give me any information and advice on a cruciate ligament injury.... I'm wondering is an operation advised and necessary as to the health and lifestyle of the dog or with strict rest and time will it come somewhere near normal.... The vets have advised operation but I'm assuming they just money grabbing as always and the cost is from £3500 to £5000 for the procedure I am considering contacting a greyhound bone man to see if I can get any info..... Any information very much appreciated Cheers

i dont take nothing now but was taking a cod liver oil capsule daily the 1000mg ones not quite sure if it done anything or whether it was just placebo.....but when my body feels like it needs a bit of a pick me up i buy some liquid called floradix and take 2 little caps a day one morning one evening and i think that does really pick me up and replenish what my body is lacking at the time......i probably get a bottle every 3 to 6 months and get it from holland and barret. cheers all the best jay ?

very very sad news this...... I met him and chatted once or twice at one or two shows......a real gentleman but a character to go with it and was liked by so many.....he will be deeply missed..... thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family......R I P john,

i used to use the micro mesh garden netting you can buy in b and q or garden centres...... and just use some hazel sticks cut long enough just to prop it up...... its not the most durable but cheap enough and comes in long lengths as its for covering garden areas..... and was only there to stop them long enough to do what had to be done..... cheers ?

you be lucky to hear off openshaw.......i emailed him over a year ago enquiring about a pup and never heard back off him......i do believe and was told, he could be quite choosy as to where and to who his pups go to.....but all the best of luck with it ?

just putting feelers out there......im considering selling my Tikka .223 stainless synthetic varmint barrel, 1 in 8 twist with moderator..... just wondered if there's anyone on here interested the rifle is in mint condition and hardly had any rounds through it genuinely.... only around 150 to be honest if that..... if the rifle does get sold it will come with a scope.......choice of either S&B 8x56 with 30mm tube, in mint as new condition, or hawke sidewinder.....not sure of the mag off the top of my head, this is also in mint condition, could throw in an extendable bipo
