Sadly I am having to sell my little ratting dog Penny, my 3 homebred bitches have taken a dislike to her and I cant let her come out with us anymore as my girls just try and shred her, she came from a farm local to me shes 8" TTS, she is a machine on the rats, she wont give up and as shes so little she can get into spaces were the others cant. Shes Mircrochipped, Fully vaccinated and a dream to have about, it really is a sad sale but not not fair on her when she wants to come out ratting but cant for her own safety No peddlers, homes will be vetted if I cant find her a good home, I wil

Thanks everyone I don't like fat labs either! I keep mine all lean and I breed the smaller leggy type not the ones that look like mastiff x's! i want my dogs to work the cover not just bulldoze through it!

3 Yellow bitches and 2 Yellow dogs still available to working homes, Mum is a picking up dog and a small labrador and is home bred out of woodie (dog in my avatar) and Tyto our old dog who passed on last year at 12years old, Dad is 4 generation bred keeper dog, who is larger set and Fox red, these puppies have been bred for there working ability and size as I like a smaller working lab that can work cover instead of just bulldozing it. puppys are KC reg and come with puppy pack including 3kg of food, money of vouchers, and puppy contract. they have been wormed every two weeks fro

or the other way as you come onto my land I dont ram (to much paperwork) but I will warn you first time, and second time i report you to police I haven't put in loads of work to keep my permission to have twits poaching so I get 3am from worried farmers with that said they have done the hay, oilseed rape and made a start on barley so I will be living in the fields for next couple of weeks, helping farmer and shooting happy days!

Lovely! I do like the black and tans

to me it sounds like a frustrated dog that is snapping when it reaches breaking point, get the weight of it and give it a job, even my retired girls have jobs, fetching balls from the garden, picking up rubbish (my blacks favourite job ) need to keep the body and mind exercised, the dog could do to be away from the kids while it is assessed and trained as it may not have snapped at them yet but it could be a matter of time I dont agree with PTS I have had two dogs here that were going to be PTS as were showing aggression both have are still with us one now lives in a family home the secon

my puppy JR dispatches rats quicker than that, and i would like to put that collar on the owner andsee how he likes it

My old bitch was always a week early from her due date!

dont get me wrong seeing a lurcher work with a decent handler I love to see and when I lived in Scotland I used to work whippets but i seem to come across less and less decent handlers and more and more K**bs, we have only one decent bloke he comes on takes a few rabbits and leaves, if we see him we say hello and leave him to it, the ones we seem to be seeing more are big groups of lads either on foot or in cars, racing around slipping there dogs on anything that moves and not even taking when the dogs catch! now that annoys me shows lack of respect for the land and the quarry
-
that I agree with - no wonder as a shooter who has permission I don't trust running lads after seeing the damage some have done to farmers land/ gates/fences, farmer wont even have them on his land now and I have to report anyone seen its got that bad, Its a shame but sadly its the few that spoil it for the majority

remember as puppy its 5mins per month of age (depending on puppy ) , personally I think he's over done it and needs rest, but best gettin him checked out by a vet to make sure
-
when shes bringing it get down really low and call her to you, dont take it straight from her, praise her and then ask her to drop/leave/dead and praise again, you can also try walking backwards and keep calling her before you drop down to take the dummy,
-
thanks hes a great boy and is settling in so well
