I have ferreted and lamped at Malham,excellent place or it was then,lifting with rabbits,we even had mooches around in daylight letting the dogs pick them from their seats or run them into the grikes and clints,Gary Hosker was the one who first highlighted the massive amount of rabbits if I remember correctly,I am sure many here remember his tales of rabbiting the limestone with his beddie/greyhound "Spud"

Yes Mac the people are lovely. I was visiting friends for a while. We had our own secret bar there!! That was dodgy ground, but the locals loved a little tickle! I worked in NWFP for a while,pakistan side of the Khyber,went over a few times,I always felt comfortable in that region
