    Four years ago my best friend was walking home from his girlfriends,only half a mile,its 2am,he is a big guy,around 6' 4" or 6' 5",and maybe 19 or 20 stone,he heard the purr of the car slow down and keep pace with him,looked over,fair enough,they asked him civilly at first "Can we have a word" equally fairly he answered "No you cant" and kept on walking,seconds later they attacked him from behind,knocked him to the ground with asps,slapped the cuffs on and he is charged with resisting arrest,he has no reason to lie to me,I believe his version of events 100%,he was attacked without provocation

    They love their power-trip,they seem to forget they are public-SERVANTS,but their attitude is one of might-is-right Friend of mine got burgled two?Maybe three years ago?Phoned the met,reported the crime,someone came out THREE days later THREE F***ING DAYS?What a waste of taxpayers money Foreign-currency was stolen in the burglary,a decent amount,and it wasnt as common as Euros or dollars neither,acting on a hunch my mate paid a visit to the Bureau-de-change on the high street,eureka,same amount stolen had been exchanged the same day as the crime,more to the point the guy was on CCTV exch

    Typical copper nowadays doesnt deserve the respect the uniform used to command,totally different breed from plod of yore Nowadays its a power-trip,an easy ride,and the pension at the end,I have met one or two decent coppers,but the majority under the skin are grade"A"twats,you can take the copper out of the uniform but you cant take the uniform out of the copper,mob-handed,egotistical bully-boys,forget Dixon of Dock Green,nowadays we are stuck with the likes of Reg Hollis

    Oots,I looked at a second-hand CanonXL1 at the weekend,very little wear on the heads decent 3-chip camera,I have used one before for footage though I am by no means an expert,XL1's were actually used to film part of Danny Boyle's "28 days later" and the quality is a cut above the average modern camcorder,my kids also have some NV gear,a yukon which can,so I am told,plug into a cam and record Black&White night footage I am certain I could get some awesome,night-film of fishing methods most people havent seen,might have to film on location in eastern-eruope to cover legalities
