    Amen to that,when I first moved here I couldnt believe the amount of fox inthe streets,now I am blase and dont even pay them heed Do you ever get any hassle digging in London?There was a member on here several years ago,maybe 2005?Put on a pic of a superb muntie,great head which he was going to have measured as it could have been a medalist,that was caught in North London How many times have you made a train journey in London and seen fox sunning themselves on the sides of the tracks?Plenty of stuff around,its surprising

    I got home from a fishing trip around 3'ish this morning,saw a fox at the bottom of the street and he raced over the road and pounded up the pavement when I crouched down and squeaked,he stood maybe 8 yards away staring at me illuminated under the street-light,I stood up slowly but he turned-tail and vanished around the side of a neighbours house.I have hunted fox loads of times in London,ferreted rabbits,caught rats,even had deer in certain towns,and caught salmon in several city centers,just a random passing thought,any of you ever hunted in a town or city?

    In fairness to the Nosy b*****d,we may just have strayed a little and might have been somewhere we shouldnt have been Joe beat me fair and square to be honest 20+ fish to my one Bit like newcastle playing Sunderland in their goal count But he will be fishing the Tyne and the Wear soon,real rivers,I think he is in for a surprise.He said he has never been that far north,so he is getting his passport ready,had his innoculations,and is applying for his "Why-aye-man" visa at the Newcastle embassy in London,he has even started learning the language Should be fun

    I was actually talking to a friend the other week who works in the gold industry,he told me some odd statistic in a mine he visited,cant remember exaclty but something like 1kg of Gold was extracted from 6000 tones of rock?Or 60,000 tons?

    A friend phoned me earlier,a guy in the village had a 15lb barbel a few hundred yards from where we were fishing and a 9 and 10 lb'er from the same swim last week

    Gold,silver,blue even,isnt it down to the action of a distressed fish as well,whats the visibility like underwater?Besides,how much is a goldfish?You can get 50 Roach in 10 minutes for free,and as BRB rightly pointed out,your not introducing even te,porarily and alien species into a waterway Have you tried goldfish yourself as a livebait?
