2023 I spent a couple of months in LA and orange county and stayed for a month in a strip motel in South Gate right next to inglewood and Compton,the place was a taxi hotel used by pay-for-play ladies and their John's,my bed had disco lights above it,life is indeed a rich tapestry. Last year I spent time in NorCal and up into oregon with really nice people,salt of the earth folk,gives you a whole new perspective on a place.

Ray bans go better with the cowboy hat,like a New Mexico or Texan Sheriff look.I don’t know about you but I feel kicking about off the usual Brit tourist areas stateside is like being on a permanent movie set,it really is a fantastic country.

I saw a rafter of Turkey up a tree this morning in broad daylight at first I wondered what they were,big birds up a tree on the side of the highway,maybe 10 of them,then I saw they were Turkey,cold and deep snow so I am wondering if the weather had a bearing on their behaviour. -

Time and pressure,that's all it takes,think of your parents childhood,think of yours now think of your own childrens,you can't even imagine your grandchildren futures,generational erosion of liberties over time,its happening.Educate your children,education will give them opportunities and actual freedom because the world is changing at a quickening rate,get them an education that will allow them to go somewhere in the world their skills are valued and they can make a good life,that's what a lot of immigrants do for their children,educate,it affords them a good life elsewhere.

The worlds largest ice skating rink opens today in the city,the rideau canal,guys were checking the ice-depth yesterday it's got to be at least 10 inches thick,we are going tomorrow morning,rent skates and get on the ice,its around -15 today so warming up a little. -
