First thing I thought when I saw it was some inuit carving made from alabaster,I have seen seals made from it in Canada,and know both marble and alabaster are found over there,could be wrong but its got that sort of familiarity,how did it come into your possession?

I have seen inuit scrimshaw type art similar with the seals,but that looks like stone rather than ivory, is it alabaster?
