  1. Hornhunter,you ever encounter Cougar or Bear?Ever hunted either of them?I was supposed to be doing a guided bowhunt for one of them this year in either the states or Canada,but domestic stuff overrode the plan(still going fishing in Thailand though )hope to book for the 2007 season now

  9. Amen to that Geordie(geordie and a mackem agreeing? )had 8 in the last two weeks along fences and every one was stone dead due to wrapping themselves round any snag within reach

  13. Nothing really mate,just that the standard AAs410 is very,very easy to power-up to 20+ft lbs with a simple little modification,but it would FAC the gun and we wouldnt want to encourage that to anyone without the proper certification

Dont forget the Pro Bass shops bullet would any of you guys be interested in a trip stateside next year sometime?Going alone is no problem to me,but its always nicer to share the experiences with likeminded folk Shouldnt cost us more than £3500-£4000 for a guided bear or cougar trip including flights from the UK,anyone interested?

Burnie,the shops over there are my wet dream wandered round one for hours in a daze Best known bowhunter alongside Ted Nugent is Chuck Adams Reflex Bows advertising pro-hunter,the guy is amazing . Seen bowhunters on DVD take polar bears Rhino,elephant,grizzly,hippo etc.Had a few deer myself over the years,nothing quite like taking one with a bow(ranks alongside taking them with a dog). Was going to book a cougar or bear hunt over there at the end of this year,and the wife was in total agreement :realmad: :realmad: :realmad: so using the money to install a new kitchen and bathroom .
  20. I was a kid when I first saw those pic's in Walsh's book,but remember thinking even then what powerfull dogs they looked,had a 26 inch D/hound/G/hound then with a massively deep chest but the dogs stateside had a deeper keel wonder if a couple could handle an elk?
