Burnie,the shops over there are my wet dream wandered round one for hours in a daze Best known bowhunter alongside Ted Nugent is Chuck Adams Reflex Bows advertising pro-hunter,the guy is amazing . Seen bowhunters on DVD take polar bears Rhino,elephant,grizzly,hippo etc.Had a few deer myself over the years,nothing quite like taking one with a bow(ranks alongside taking them with a dog). Was going to book a cougar or bear hunt over there at the end of this year,and the wife was in total agreement :realmad: :realmad: :realmad: so using the money to install a new kitchen and bathroom .
  3. I was a kid when I first saw those pic's in Walsh's book,but remember thinking even then what powerfull dogs they looked,had a 26 inch D/hound/G/hound then with a massively deep chest but the dogs stateside had a deeper keel wonder if a couple could handle an elk?

  8. Theoben Fenman, surely? Shooting foxes with an air rifle is a stupid idea. Point blank to one in a snare it would kill it, if it was in the right place, but its a shite idea. Back on topic; BSA Superten's are great guns. When they were first brought out (about 9 years ago I think), I dismissed them as a poor mans Rapid. Shortly after the MkII was released, a mate picked up a MkI second hand. They are probably the ugliest air rifles ever produced, and a tad heavy, but they shoot like a dream.     Read it when I was a kid,excellent book,gave me the idea of flight netting duck in the local wildfowl refuge used to work fine till they fitted an electric wire along the top of the fence

Only registered on here to buy some fox snares,but saw this thread a few weeks back Excellent treed pictures Bullet,got a PSE Scorpion myself,got a whitetail doe in '94 hunting my cousins place in Minnesota,actually e-mailed a few hunting guides in Canada as I would love to try for Cats or Bear.Broadheads come in a range of sizes,shapes and weights Cupid,from fixed blades and replacement blades through to expandables,would have shot a few fallow down in essex with mine if it was still legal here in the UK...............
