  1. I didnt quite catch the bag limit Maty, sounded like 4 but could just as easily have been 40 or even 400 I will just have to find out when I get on the venue,if theres anyone around at 2am I will ask
  2. I have visited and fished on a few VERY expensive chalk-streams Neil, never quite at the £295 ceiling however, but there are two of us fishing it,that leaves no change almost out of £600 Slightly steep mate Your right though, such waters are always top class venues to fish, well manicured banks etc, perfect for entering the waters to wade,a credit to their riparian owners, but I have never ONCE blanked at such a place I have just gone through my small-change jar and rifled through the kids piggy-banks,I think I have just enough for a session,I will tell you the results at a later date
  3. As soon as they heard my accent I wouldnt fit in,I think the guyonthe other end of the line realised that,I wonder if he would pay me £295 NOT to fish it
  4. Your right mate, those fish MUST be gold plated at that price I was flabbergasted,I was lost for words mate,I just couldnt work out how a wander down the banks with rod in hand could cost £295,for that I would expect to take home every fish on a 2 mile stretch
  5. I am not exactly a dry-fly purist,I have been known to dabble in other methods now and again, baits, spinners etc,but I just rang up a chalk-stream fishery in Hampshire,dry-fly only, very well spoken guy, surprised it wasnt a premium-rate line and cost me a tenner just to chat with him £295 a DAY?F***ing hell,I could buy a beat for that, how do they justify that price?Thats a bigger p**s-take than fishing at night and leaving a quid surely,at least I will have the decency to wear a mask when I fish the place, they rob people bare-faced
