well, sort of took your advice wilf, and it paid off big time went back over today, with the intention of shooting a few woodies,well not a woody in sight, hung around for an hour then thought, sod it,lets go home, on the walk back to the car, saw a rabbit and shot that and on getting closer to where I parked, thought Id give the "old" dead rabbit decoy a try, I tucked myself in, alongside a tractor and did'nt have long to wait, within 5 minutes a maggie dropped in, and I dropped it well the sky then became full of them, screaming away and dropping in to see their dead buddy, I got six bef

you want to shoot lots of maggies? get yourself a ferret with a coller on attatch said ferret to a stake with a lenth of strong fishing line WITH a swivel stake it out and watch those maggies come in . and still comein as they are seeing their mates go down too ...... yis fellman

i have a dog ( two years old ish) from downsouth ,and if this one is anythign to go by ill have three more off the " quitters" line please easiest dog to start i have ever owned ( and there have been a few) and though a little on the hard side he works well ( so far ) so yeha ill take another couple of " quitters" please yis fellman oh yeah and the dog was dirt cheap ..... downsouth cheers mate

exactly the same thing happend in chorley and a few of us had a ball for a few weeks .though the mink killed all the song birds and ground nessting birds we killed a lot ..also had a little bit of bother breaking them back to ferrets afterwards ... yis fellman

i was offerd one out of really good stuff for 350 quid i couldnt bring myself to pay it , if the same guy who offerd me the pup wanted one of mine i would be charging in the region of 100 covering costs etc etc ....... no need to be asking daft money ......... no disrespect to the lad who offerd it me i am sure he got the money he was asking for . but i perssonally would not pay that much for a pup yis fellman

that is what i like in a terrier. a stay till dug dog is to be admired. but to some they are a liability in an ideal world. i would like to own a dog that could stay till dug. when told. kill the quarry when asked. and shout out when needed. anyone got one for me no one ever sells a good working terrier. is a very broad statement and of cource is not true. ive seen some very good terriers changing hands. and for many reasons.the terrierworld is full of sweeping statements and most of them are bollocks. one of the main reasons good terriers change hands is they are owned by fannies
