ok if he was above the average dog man i will list a couple of things he bred terriers thet are shit in the ground and not worthy of the name terrier! his "ultimate running machine " was a bag of shite ! and he told tall tales ! and you consider this above avaerage? we all have our own standards i guess thats without even mentioning the fact he hated terrierman and was (alledgedly) a grass! f*****g hell i choose my friends better than that! in a word the guy was a knob ,puppy peddler ,and a liar! yis fellman

cleanspade i am just giving my opinion ..........that it differs from other peoples suprises me not! what i said up there is just how i understand terrier work to be.....if i am mistaken im sure there are plenty of "real deal" terriermen on here who will put me straight ...... its got nothing to do with talking the talk ...or walking the walk .....just my opinion .....simple as that ... ok ill ask you cleanspade....what do you expect from your terriers? the plummer pup( bree?) what are your expectations? im not trying to be some sort of wanker here just asking yis fellman

to be honest chief i dont want a all round terrier ..........i want a dog that will do what it was bred to do !!!!!!!! nothing more nothing less.........dont want it to track deer ,retrieve to the gun ,work with ferrets,finish sudoku puzzles!!!! just go to ground and do what it needs to do...... i love ratting its fun .........no problem with that ,just not what the name terrier means ...jmho. cleanspade,i dont want or need a terrier to do anything other than go to ground and do what it should do........ not decrying "sporting terriers "at all .just dont want people to think a terrier

my mate had a russel dog .....the hard silent type (lakey blooded ) id have put my mortgage money on him ,when he was three years old, to hold and dig the game . at the age of four .....he was seriously SORTED by a vixen sat on a shelf in a sand earth he quit there and then ......after that he was a ten min wonder dog .......never was dug to again he went back to the guy that bred him as a pet for his child yis fellman

good luck with her joe i myself had two lurchers collide head on one dog came off without a scratch the other had its scull caved in literally caved in she went to the manchester vet school who were bone specialists 700 quid later the bitch was retired and spent the rest of her life lying in front of the fire .........well she did get the odd days ferreting if my other lurcher was laid up those guys at the bone specialists can work wonders! yis fellman
