    While I agree that a vet should always be a valid option and a high priority in the case of any ill animal, you only have to look at what this lad posted a few pages back about his vet telling him 'ferrets don't get ear mites...' While nobody on here is qualified to make a diagnoses, what you've still got is a resource containing a few hundred experienced ferret owners who between them have probably experienced nearly every single type of ferret ailment... We could all probably give more advice than - Take it to a vet, even if it's just the basics like keeping the animal warm and hydr

    guess a liot has to do with the attitude of the keeper,and also the person who really ought not be there.worked the doors for many years,and in most cases if you asked politely for them to leave.most did without to much fuss.however if you were a prick and came over shouting your mouth of and throwing your weight around.Well of course your going to get the same back.which always led to digs being thrown.as i said earlier most timeswhen i participated in poaching.the keepers never knew we were there.

    i think they take it quite strict.need permits and licenses,im also sure there is a written test.sure i read that somewhere. would certainly do my homework first,nothing worse than getting caught up in legal proceedings in a foregn country.

    crazy what they get away with.remember being in bulgaria few year back.this guy was sitting on a plank of wood,suspened with two ropes from the roof in bare feet painting the front of the hotel.not a safety harness in sight lol

    i remember working on one site,where the joiner jumped in the bucket of the jcb to go up high to hammer a few nails in a board.the site agent came out and put both of them of the job.

    if you cant get fresh meat ie rabbits and pigeons,asda do turkey legs for around £1.50 i find this a great deal if your low on caught meat.also i know a lot of lads dont like dry but throw some in aswell.there also a ferret tonic on the market.raw egg yolks.soya or goats milk.yu will see him come on in leaps and bounds mate.good luck and good for you on saving the poor wee bugger.

    keep handling her,even better make sure she has a full belly when hadling her.if it continues to bite.Take your knuckle and push it down the back of her throat.firmly.they hate it.do this everytime she tries to bite.i do it with mine and they soon stop.dont go flicking thier noses it will only make them more enclined to nip you.ATB with it mate.keep percevering it will come good.

    sorry mate i worded that wrong.he got laid off,and he just a kid.ad he was telling me he thought his job was safe,and he kinda went daft with the savings over xmas and buying stuff for new baby.
