  1. Great as long as you have an IR laser attached.
  2. I take it you were going to shoot it with a .22lr? otherwise you could of just whacked it at 250 yards from where you were.
  3. ....Nice house, no lurchers or tracky bottoms anywhere, good stuff
  4. There are 9 people now signed up for the course. Still a few places available if anyone is interested.
  5. ....that is not bad! If anyone off here buys it, burn me a copy and send me a PM for my address.
  6. ....get a dozen guys together of this forum and the matter could be dealt with swiftly lol!
  7. ....I can't wait to get back out but the weather forecasts this week are absolutely miserable, or it is a day I can't do when it is forecast to be nice....typical eh! I think next year I will book the second week in August of so I can spend a bit of time on the ground. hope you guys are all getting some decent action too.
  8. ....as the others have said above, get yourself to your nearest clay ground for practice. If you have been an airgunner up until now it could be something as simple as when you are about to fire you are stopping the gun, hence you miss behind. It takes practice that is all it is mate practice and a wee bit of guidance from someone who can stand next to you and see what you are doing. If you had lived a bit closer I would have been happy to take you out for some practice and tips .......surely someone on here will help this guy out? Everyone loves to show off the knowledge to a newbi
  9. ...if you are a junkie or drunk you are allowed to smack your kids and get away with it, it is the the normal people in society who aren't allowed to because some do gooders will complain. Our society has become one of tolerance and support for the scum of society and screw the rest of us that have to work hard for a living....the harder we work the more we get screwed.
  10. I bet when he was only 10 yards away you were starting to get nervous lol ! Sounds like you had a good evening out.
  11. ....what I hope the govt will learn is that we should abolish that awful bit of legislation the Human Rights Act that labour allowed in and allow us to get back to basics like build more jails with no frills slopping out and shite food. Make these feckers realise that if they are going to do the crime they have to be prepared to do hard time and proper sentences none of this 12 months serve 6 months or serve 3 then get out on a tag crap. Punishments don't reflect the crimes these days and if there is not deterrent/consequence no wonder these feckers are happy to go rioting and looting
  12. I have changed over and find it far easier to use photobucket.com and paste the image code.
  13. ....cheers fellas......I am well hooked now, and have managed to get some permission providing I get my DSC1 at the end of Sept, so looking forward to some early mornings and late evening stalks.
  14. ....it is such a shame..... we bring it on ourselves, taxpayers obviously haven't been helping these disaffected people enough, maybe we should give them more benefits, more free housing (preferably new) and encourage them to have even more kids to perpetuate their legacy of being useless, lowlife, neanderthal scum. I don't think jail is an option for any of them, they can just go to the doctor and blame it on a drugs, drink depression and instead they can get put on a programme that also gets them classed as more needy and worthy of more points so they can jump higher up the housing li
  15. nice going fella. ....it could be a long post the day you 20 rabbit and 20 pigeons lol!
  16. Sounds like an action packed night, good stuff
  17. First of all I would like to say a massive thanks to my mate who kindly took me under his wing and has taken me out a number of times to help me get my first buck and intro into deerstalking. Hopefully he has not downed all the whiskey I gave this morning and is still sober enough to read this post.....cheers mate. We headed out just after 5am and tried walking a few different spots using the butollo caller to see if we could get anything to appear. We had stalked a dozen or so fields without any sign of a buck at all. Finally at about 8am we arrived at a nice spot in a wheat field tha
  18. I went to hospital for a testicle operation last week, the little Thai nurse cupped my balls and said "Don't worry, it's quite normal to get an erection while doing this examination". I said " I haven't got an erection." she said, "No, but I have."
  19. Looks quite nifty, but I doubt you get any change out of £1k lol!
  20. Crackin beast that, I am sooo jealous :notworthy:
  21. ...pictures speak louder than words, show us the setup
  22. I have 686E and think it is great. I don't think you can go far wrong buying a beretta or browning really and they tend to hold their value really well so if you don't like it after a few months it is still likely you could get exactly what you paid for it so you have nothing to lose really.
  23. Ric is right, each calibre has its own advantages/disadvantages. Think about what you current needs are and then what you are likely to be doing in the future and how much you are going to spend. I would bear in mind the following points : Get the best scope you can afford...a lot of people say spend as much on the scope as you do the rifle, and I wish I had taken that advice initially. There is nothing worse than looking through cheap scopes when trying to lamp a fox. Hobbies have a habit of growing arms and legs. If this is you just moving into centrefires it maybe that you are likely to
