    Did anyone see the article in one of the shooting magazines about the guy who had an MRI scan and was they found some lead shot that he had ingested when eating some ducks and he asked what would have happened if it had been steel shot instead of lead and the doctors told him that steel shot in a body when doing an MRI scan could do some internal damage!

    Out this morning down at the bay by Dunbar and missed some geese but bagged a mallard and two teal, so not too disappointing as I am a bit rusty on the shotgun front after spending to much time on the rifles. There were a couple of boys on the bay that bagged about half a dozen geese and teal.

    As a newbie to stalking I noticed the first one on my trousers yesterday on the way back home in the motor and for the rest of the day everytime I felt an itch anywhere I was jumping up and running to the mirror to see whether it was a tick lol! I don't fancy growing a third bollock!

    I comfortably spot foxes with it at 300 yards with the IR laser attached. I have not had any experience with other models.

    ....just another example of how British justice lets us all down unfortunately. :wallbash: The common sense approach should be that as he is habitual fraduster then an immediate spell in jail would curb his activities. No doubt he has been charged and is pending a court case appearance but in the meantime he is most likely thinking 'f*ck it I am going down anyway so why not scam a few more'....this is why the UK sucks, because for a lot of criminals crime does pay and it pays fairly well without much chance of doing any time :chair:

    Are you the passenger or are you the driver? For a driver shooting out of the passenger window I took a design I saw on another forum (http://ukvarminting.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9475&st=0&p=83023&hl=+window%20+rest&fromsearch=1&&do=findComment&comment=83023) . Take a couple of bits of 2x2 wood cut one about 12inches in length and drill two holes the size of the headrest posts for the headrest to sit into keep it in place and connect it to the other bit so the other bit spans the gap across the passenger seat from the headrest and sits on the dashboard.
