  1. Thanks for the suggestions. I phoned Jessops and they do transfer slides to DVD, they charge £10 for the first 15 slides then 50p per slide after that.. Does that sound reasonable?
  2. I am looking for some advice please. My mum has been diagnosed with terminal lung & liver cancer and when I was visiting my mum and dad last weekend I came across some old 35mm picture slides and I thought it might cheer her up a bit if I got them put onto a DVD. Are there any high street places that do this (such as Jessops) or should i go to either a independant photgrapher or is it better to find a company on the web? Is it likely to be expensive..... I hate getting ripped off . Thanks Dave
  3. Nice night for it. Good shooting.
  4. We might as well make the most of the fine weather cos we ain't going to get chance to drive the hills once the winter months arrive lol ! Not unless we get a roll cage.
  5. Looks like you had a good day, I would be happy with that result:
  6. If I could I would get one of this lot : click here Now these would be fun for driving round the farms!
  7. Good luck to them, they are not going to be able to do anything about people legitimately carrying out pest control on pest species! So what if there are photos.......if they don't like them then don't look at THL....simple as that.....it is mainly a hunting forum after all! I probablly wouldn't like their website.....so simple I won't bother looking at it. . Maybe one day they will get what they want and we can piss ourselves laughing when they start moaning that their houses are full of rats, their precious veg patches getting eaten to bits by rabbits, and foxes are chasing kids a
  8. For £300 to have a green light ..... I don't get it.....why not just use a green filter on your lamp? :whistling:
  9. Who cares he enjoyed it shared it with us and its another dead fox the only good sort. well done
  10. Cracking night out that ! and thats what I call a photo worth posting.
  11. Headed out last night with my mate to see what foxes were about on one of the farms and it was a nice change to see the farmer had left a few gates open for a change ( can't help getting fed up spending half your night opening/closing gates ). We managed to get ourselves up onto some of the hills and we came across a ewe carcass that looked like it had been chewed at by foxes. We flicked the lamp around and spotted two sets of eyes a good few hundred yards away on another hill so we tried calling them in. The one fox was not playing ball but the younger one started coming in fast. We were p
  12. YOu could try a rifle wrap, just google or you tube it there are loads.
  13. You could try : any of your local butchers/game dealers (if they are skinned and gutted you could get £1.30 each if they are head shot) local bird of prey centre might well appreciate them put a post on the ferreting forum...good ferret food
  14. Looks like you have been having some fun . Nice shooting keep the pics coming :clapper:
  15. Not sure how well it works but presumably you can plug in some external speakers click here (a lot of them use the same headphone jack as the one for you headphones on your phone). Same principle as you would use for an ordinary personal mp3 player. The ones which have to operate off their own batteries will give a bit more amplification. Hope this helps.
  16. Can't wait to get back out at them just really off I am so busy at the moment ...it will be next Thursday before I can get back out.....sucks big time , too much permission and so little time:( . But it is great to see some posts of what everyone else has been upto so keep em coming
  17. I have been out shooting with muphymax loads of times and I I tell you he knows his stuff when it comes to foxing and he knows his permissions extremely well in fact he probably spent at least a month checking out what dens had activity in them before finally starting to shoot the cubs.......it sounds like you are lust a little jealous for some reason Dan either that or you have a little experience but no real knowledge of foxes yourself!
  18. Over in Rabbie Burns' country Shame he wasn't born near Edinburgh & midlothian lol !
  19. When they did mine a few years ago now they turned it around in 3 weeks from sending in the application to receiving the certificate, so here's hoping it will be the same for you bud
