The flocked ones are the ones that are velvety instead of the plastic which gives a bit more realism. I have the shell ones and they work fine, the only reason I went for shell decoys is the take up less space for carrying as they can just stack on top of each other. You don't need many to start go for say 10 and then you replace them with real ones as you kills progress. In terms of patterns the most important thing to remember is they land coming into the wind so the front of the horsehoe points into the wind and ideally you position your hide along a hedgeline that gives you straight i

I had a similar problem when I changed from .177 to .22 and hated it for a long long time however as the saying goes the more you practice the luckier you seem to get !

Headed down to the chicken farm to have a look out for a couple foxes that I knew were still about. It was one of those nights when I was in a dilema whether to pick a spot and sit it out with the NV or do I just drive about and lamp. In the end I decided to have a drive about but saw nothing around the first half a dozen sheds. I then went along to another part of the farm which has two sheds that has a short field inbetween them which has just had the silage cut so I was hoping that I may get a fox mooching about in the field. I scanned the field and the nearest shed with the NV and saw

There seems to be good write ups now regarding the new Pulsar Digisight which is around £1k which isn't that bad a price really..... thats why god invented credit cards and finance afterall ! I use the lamp for spotting quarry then turn it off and use the night vision, they complement each other well.

I won't bore you with a long list but as far as decoys go I prefer flocked decoys and I have two flocked pecking decoys to add a bit of movement to the pattern and that works well for me. As far as rotary decoy setups go I find that I do aswell without it as with it ..... so if you want one I am open to offers lol ! Keep it simple I say.

My best bag last year was 111 , mainly feral pigeons and I was mightily annoyed that I ran out of cartridges or it might have been more ! Good photos by everyone, keep it up.

I think there is a step by step guide for a wooden high seat in this months SPorting Rifle if I am not mistaken. Reckons it cost him under £30 to build. If you can't be arsed to buy the magazine then PM me and I will photocopy it and send you it via email.

They said this last night too and I was out on the hills at midnight and the skies were relatively clear and guess what I saw....... yes absoultely hee haw....yes absolute jack shit ..... nada....... ! Good luck to everyone else believing the hype ! :censored:
