  1. That is funny as feck ! But is it real......I have no idea how a baler works ? It looks real but my gut instinct says it is a clever hoax !
  2. Good going  6am ! What is that ? I have never seen that time on my clock/watch ..... although I must say I am a huge fan of 9am :lazy: :lazy: :lazy:
  3. Do you reload your own ammo for the 22-250?
  4. Looks a fair size anyway, take it was a dog fox? What calibre are you using?
  5. It was big Dave, its the one i shot at and missed when we were out last week,up at Toms had a shot twice at it with Jim, but it had to be my brother who shot it dead @ 40 yards though, at least i can say i had an idea of where to move to, so we could head it off, suppose i was familiar with its habits after 3 failed attempts to nail it. Free Sunday Night if your up for a wander. Babysitting Sunday ! Up for Monday night though?
  6. If you are only in small fields the CB2 which has the 50 watt bulb should be fine. If you are going to lamping long distances then you really should go for the one with the 100 watt bulb. If you want to play safe then go for the 100 watt one first that way you won't have to worry about upgrading in the future like I am going to have to do very shortly.
  7. It all comes down to how much you are prepared to spend. No point talking about what you can't afford, what is you budget?
  8. You seem to be denting the rabbit population these days.
  9. Went down the chicken farm for a mooch about last night and in parked up along one of the tracks and did a few calls and did spot a fox a good few hundred yards of in the distance with the NV but it wasn't interested and wouldn't come any close and seemed to be more interested with what it had found so I decide d to see if I could stalk up to it, which I thought might be a bit awkward with the full moon ! Any way after what seemed like 15 minutes (was only about 2 minutes) I was within a comfortable 150 yards and then let the 22-250 do the rest and down it went. It was only then I remembere
  10. It came running in from about 100 yards to 60 yards.
  11. Yes, I do have one somewhere in my garage we used to put it on the midget when we were on nights out in the town in Edinburgh it was great for keeping him under control and stopped him from pissing on people when they weren't looking. I will need to look into improvising the tracker though. ATB Dave
  12. My daughter in law is due her baby in the next fortnight so I thought I would start making preperations for babysitting duties and being a practical person I thought of a couple of things that other future grandparents may also find useful : The entire top perimeter of the crib has been reinforced with a metal frame that is connected to a car battery. When someone tries to escape the crib, they will be given a gentile electric shock, which will discourage them from attempting to climb out of the crib again. It includes a 12 volt car battery, but a higher-voltage battery can always be purc
  13. That is good going guys:thumbs: . I am always happy as long as I get one lol !
  14. It was shot by someone I took lamping last night, it was shot with a .243 (I edited my post when I realised I said it 'wasn't'), I think he said he was using 90gr v-max. I have seen plenty of shot foxes and I am not sure how the bullet hit but that is the biggest exit wound I have ever seen !
  15. Nothing else to say but OUCH !! .... it was shot with a .243 ..... looked more like it had been killed by a grenade !
  16. :welcomeani: and ar bin yer. Bostin !
