  1. Good going Kenny, what ammo are you using at the moment.
  2. Glad to hear you not had any run ins so far but these days word of mouth could be insufficient in the view of the police. For example what happens if the tractor guy has left and got a different number....could be difficult to explain if you get an awkward cop. Plus what happens if a landowner is on holiday abroad....it happens. Far easier to get permission in writing that way the landowner can't turn around and say that you never had permission or that you had permission ages ago but not now! If you have never met the owners of the lands and they are not willing to give permission in writing
  3. Headed down to the chicken farm tonight to have a good mooch about as last week I could only get out one night and it feckin well rained no sooner than I had got out:wallbash: . Anyway apart from the full moon the weather albeit damn cold (it went down to -4C) it was a dry night. I had headed up to one of the fields where I normally find foxes going about but nothing not even with the u-caller on. So I put down some bait for the foxes and moved off to a different part of the farm. I scanned the fields with the lamp but nothing was about so I just tried doing a rabbit call with my mou
  4. Hope your mate remembers to give you some eggs in return:thumbs:
  5. Nice fox! I can't really see how anyone can have ago as you aren't doing anything illegal. :bye:
  6. I iused to have a baikal single barrelled 12 bore and they used hushpower cartridges and it was not much louder than an air rifle. Nowt to complain about with them, maybe the barrel could be a bit shorter.
  7. ...shouldn't burn them, the antis will be in uproar that we are also increasing carbon emissions aswell :11:
  8. That looks crackin mate! Great photos and great shooting. :notworthy:
  9. He sure is having fun with that new .223 . Did you pick the mushrooms too, they would have gone nicely with some fried eggs when you got home.
  10. Decent looking fox that one Billy.
  11. .....bring on the hardtimes I say....if you can't fend for yourself then tough titty you should of worked harder to provide for yourself and family. Time for people in the UK to get a reality check
  12. ...get a loan for an additional £400 and get the pulsar digisight.
  13. Yep, I know that:wallbash: , but what magnification is capable of seeing a 6.5mm hole at 500 yards? http://www.valdada.c...1c6d77f59f.aspx :tongue4: ..... Bit expensive for me but very nice lol !
  14. Yep, I know that:wallbash: , but what magnification is capable of seeing a 6.5mm hole at 500 yards?
  15. I don't mind leg work but I don't have time to do that much walking when shooting at a target 500 yards away. I want to be able make scope adjustments without doing a 1000 yard walk every 5 shots.
  16. you could see you target at 250 yards if you stick a green filter on your lamp also:whistling: . I suppose saying no need for nightvision is a true statement as it is the same as saying using a lamp means no need for nightvision:thumbs:
  17. Well said:clapper: :clapper:
  18. ....fighting a shit load of people most of the day to get my 2nd dan black belt:thumbs:
  19. Pre-ban eh! Well both your dogs aren't even 18 months old so how the hell did you manage that:wallbash:
  20. ...the 22-250 is my favourite, shoots nicer than mine.
  21. I have seen cameras like this click here for as little as £130-£140? But would the picture quality be good enough?
