    What's a URN number? Its basically the number the police assistance desk give you when you phone up to tell them you are out lamping. Normally I only do this if I am going to be out and about near a residential area.

    I have been told that a marker won't appear automatically for a vehicle as it is the individual that has an FAC/SGC. Once the police stop you and check driver details that is when a marker appears..... and that kinda makes sense as although the vehicle may be registered to someone that has a FAC/SGC doesn't mean they are the person driving the vehicle.

    Lee, I got my ranger from here click here £289, I then bought an ir laser. It works well out to 350yards'ish which is more than adequate for foxing.

    I can kinda see your point but the onus is really on your to prove to the police you have permission and if you are unwilling to get it put in writing then you can understand that you are making both their job more difficult and making things more awkward for yourself too. It isn't a requirement of law but more a case of being the respsonsible thing to do so that it makes everyones life easier (you, the landowner and the police). I had one farmer that although he gave me verbal permission I was struggling to get written permission off....he was just old fashioned. So I did tell a white lie

    In my opinion its just about knowing your land and where foxes are going about. I am quite happy to see a fox bolt as soon as it sees the lamp because at least then I know where it is likely to be next time. As I use NV a lot I prefer a dark cloudy night (without rain!) with a light breeze. At the end of the day I assume foxes have got to look for food every day regardless of weather .

    do u get alot of fox of this ground every year r is this just a good year? I have taken 22 off this chicken farm so far this year which is more than last year. They just keep on coming. . How are you doing?
