  1. Can you put up a picture of what you are after or a picture of your setup so we can see what you mean?
  2. After a staff night out I had some one phone in the next day : Member of staff : 'I can't come in today I was so drunk last night and I got mugged on my way home' Me: 'Mugged on you way home ! Did you get a kicking?' Member of Staff : 'Fraid so boss, I am not up to coming in to work today' Me: ' How incredible you got mugged when you only had to walk 20ft from the car to your front door when I dropped you off becasue you were so drunk last night!'
  3. good question My guess is that you would hand it into a your local RFD.
  4. poor comment that....that is a bit like shooting guys saying that all guys with dogs wear tracky bottoms and live on council estates and think they have a legal right to roam where they want . Had dogs all my life.Never wore tracky bottoms unless i was lying about the house. And yes i do live in a council estates. But i own my house. Some of us play by the rules. You f*****g snob. ....read my post properly ..... I am not saying that is what I think hence the at the end of my sentence. The vast majority play by the rules on both sides that is why I said that is a poor comment t

  8. Cracking night by the looks of it guys . Hope you have left yourself some for the weekend
  9. Don't forget your camera ! A picture says a 1000 words and all that !
  10. Great to see people are back out there hitting the foxes . It had been getting quiet on the forum for a while. Nice shot placement by the way .
  11. ....have you tried baiting the area if you you know its routine?
  12. ....great country , it is on my bucket list . Nice hare by the way, what calibree is the rifle?
  13. I can't complain at all about my Trident Pro, just make sure you but the IR laser too. Gen 1 leave to air rifle bunny bashers, Gen 2+ a must for foxing and if you can afford Gen 3 then brilliant. Buying new or secondhand is your choice, just remember there is no warranty with secondhand.
  14. ...similar to above but I zero at 50 yards which gives me inch and a half high at 100 yards.
  15. I meant to ask you what software is it you use to re-size your pics? Not that size matter, its just my pics are always tiny in comparison lol. I have been using shrinkpicture.com but is there better websites out there?
  16. Glad to hear your your Mars 3 is paying dividends....money well spent I am sure you agree. Upload some pics when you get chance. If you are ever up this way give me a shout I would love to have alook through a gen 3 sight. Happy hunting in the meantime.
  17. .....damn You just reminded me that a mate wanted me to get him a brush and I forgot to cut it off :wallbash:
  18. Cheers Kenny, the farmer is wanting rid of as many foxes as possible before lambing and although a few people on here will moan that you shouldn't shoot pregnant vixens well, I doubt the farmer would agree ! Hows your foxing coming along?
  19. Looks like you are having some good fun this weekend  . At least with the foxes you dont have to worry about gralloching them ...good choice . Nice tail on that fox too.
  20. Headed out tonight by myself for a mooch down at the farm to see if I could catch up with the eyes I had seen last week. When I flicked the lamp round onto the first couple of hills I caught a pair of eyes up by the rough ground at the base of the hill about 400 yards away, so I turned the lamp off and start to make my way across the field towards the bottom of the hill and the rough ground. Once I was within 150 yards I grabbed my 22-250 and flicked on the NV but the fox got spooked and made off into the rushes and after waiting 15 minutes to see if it would reappear I had to admit defea
  21. Good shooting Billy. . Bet Kevin was gutted he missed the event lol ! What time did you stay out to in the end?
  22. LOOKS LIKE YOU WERE PUNKED
  23. Some good points raised there chaps, I will advise him to reconsider the muzzles . As far as not ferreting when kits are about I kinda see where you're coming from if ferrets aren't muzzled .... I couldn't be arsed digging out the ferrets all the time! .
  24. I was just chatting to a friend of mine who has just got some ferrets. I am anything but an expert on ferreting but have been out a few times with guys ferreting rabbits to shotgun and I mentioned that maybe it would be worthwhile him looking into getting some muzzles as he doesn't want to be sitting waiting or having to dig out ferrets if they have got hold of young kits. Does anyone have any actual experience of muzzles, do they work and if so which ones to buy and which ones to avoid ? Cheers.
