  5. ......hit the nail right on the head. . It is the same old shit...just the depth that varies  . They all say one thing to get into power then they do something different and blame the previous party
  6. I use these: =uk_insert&cookie_v[1]=8V&cookie_d[1]=&cookie_p[1]=%2f&cookie_e[1]=Sun%2c+08-May-2011+22%3a26%3a32+GMT&scrwidth=1317"]Yukon Ranger 5 x 42 with an LIR80 IR laser. Without the laser they are no good for spotting foxes past 60 yards but with the IR laser mine can spot a fox out to 300 yards and 400 yards with the IR beam narrowed down.
  7. Quick question.....is it ok to reload nickel cases ? I was speaking to someone and they said the cases may cause some damage to the dies so it is best not to reload them. Anyone else heard this....opinions please.
  8. I suppose it depends what you mean by 'a good distance'. I wouldn't have thought you would be shooting more than 40 yards to get a clean kill.
  9. I have a Howa 1500 in 22-250 with the stainless varmint barrel and laminated stock and although I love it, it is a heavy beast to be walking about with. If I was buying it again I would have gone for a lighter synthetic stock, still sticking with the stainless but with the sporter barrel for sure. If you are planning on shooting foxes out of a vehicle window then I would consider getting the barrel shortened slightly too. Nearly forgot to explain the basic difference between the two barrels: The biggest difference is the rate of heating and cooling. A heavy barrel will heat up more s

    bad parenting

....you are bang on ! That is child abuse both physically and mentally. She is giving her daughter a basic form of cosmetic surgery and if you ask me that a child should have to be a minimum of 18 for something like that. worst case at least 16 !
  13. ....this topics getting a bit boring now.....can we start a new one about muslims
  14. What skill is required to take a lead off a dog? I'll bet you a total beginner will be catching rabbits end of day 1. If thats what you call skill, well You need to learn how to get close to a wild animal, you need to learn how to train a dog, I know it looks easy but it ain't. We aren't hunting hand raised game you know..... we can't put the dog in a cupboard cos its raining...... ....you are finally getting my point too ! Shooting is more than getting a shotgun and pulling a trigger. Most syndicates have to put a lot of hard work into raising game on a shoot and shooting high
  15. ....yeh right ! Cos letting your dog of the lead is such a difficult thing to do.... . The fact you think that's all you need to do to train a dog etc, only strengthens my point The fact you think shooting requires no skills or fieldcraft, only strengthens my point Both require patience and skill and if you are not able to understand that then most likely that is ignorance on your part shooting's a piece of piss, any retard can learn to shoot. can you read and understand this? 1)The shooting position and hold must be firm enough to support the rifle. 2)

  19. After October I hardly managed to get out during the day as I tend to concentrate on my fox shooting at night and I use my 22-250 with NV for that. But I am hoping to get back out using this over the next few weeks so I will PM you when I have managed to tweak the loads/scope settings. I think it is worth the money if it is for general day shooting and upto 200 yard foxing with lamp but if you are a pureist who has had S&B scopes or similar I don't think the light gathering capability at dusk/dawn will be quite as good and the illumination for the reticule display would detract too.
  20. ........no photo means you can't add it to your count
  21. maybe it is just me but I can't get your survey link to work.
  22. Thats bad patter to leave your spent case lying around . To leave a few birds for the foxes as bait isn't a bad thing though, at least you know what field the foxes will be in tonight
