    jade goodie

She's part of the rich tapestry of life, and as for her Cancer, I wish her well and those who find amusment in it, a painful death.
  2. So many to think of and so many to choose. One of my favourites but could go on and on over U2, AC/DC, Rainbow etc.etc.etc. Strangely enough though not Mcfly http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KvH127PFmcY&...feature=related Bugga, forgot to put the clip on
  3. Nice one, and not a bad looking bitch either matey
  4. I'm fairly certain he's not trying to be 'smarmy' matey. There is a bit of sense in that as the dog will be following instinct and you trying to learn or interpret what the dog is doing. If you can't follow someone and are finding it difficult to gain any experience, try reading as much about terrier work as possible, this way you can make up your own mind and also decide what you want to do with your dog. At the same time you will no doubt be showing your dog as much as possible and as you have said, it seams to be off to a flyer without even knowing it. Good luck and be patie
  5. Learn your history before predicting the future. Besides, it's not wax, it's some sort of fatty oil type sh*t, I think. Wax jackets are something you can get of market stalls, sold by blokes who know no better and care even less.
  6. So are coal fires matey, but they work
  7. Got a Northumberland and a waist coat, very good and built to last. Also Barbour Moleskins
  8. Good job he's not Egyptian or they would be busy making a Pyramid for him He's only gone for a pedicure, he'll be back sometime next Summer
  9. Feck me is this still going on I'm gonna ring the Pope up and ask him to Cannonise Ditchy for services to people with nothing else better to do ( would ask the Labour party to make him a MBE or something but cannot for the life in me see him with his feet at Buck house  ) Good bloke and a laugh but come on people, move on eh.
  10. Dev, they are all 'avalanche' safety gear mate. All work at 457 khz ( i think thats right ) but on the same frequency any way. My 'box' was a lot less than the Pieps system ( which B&F supply )but having said that, in my opinion, B&F aren't ripping people off, they are selling Pieps at a reasonable price and one that is competetive with other suppliers. Best thing to do is to google avalanche/ski safety eqpt and see what you come up with.
  11. If you want a cheap pick up it's the thing to go for alright.
  12. Yes 'Baron Selwyn von Ortovox' has a certain 'ring' to it don't you think
  13. that tyson dog in the country mans look nice, but i wouldent want one out of him for work. my mate had four young ones out of him, nice lookers but thats where it ends. they were tried on rat and rabbit when young, and fox as they got older but no good at all. any way my mate died. and i owed it to himto try the dogs had them for six months or more and tryed them week in week out but still no good. a nice dog that tyson but you would think youd get one worker out of four wouldent you. In replie tyson and the rest of that guys borders son and daughters
  14. Thinking of getting one, like the short barrel length but if you have any information on them I'd be happy to here it.
  15. Ohhhh are they Deben mk 3 my arse
  16. You should be 'Tar & Feathered' for that Waz Although, 'My Austin Ambassador's a Y reg' has something about it
  17. OK, you've forced my hand ( not literally though ) she got my vote
  18. Crazy how more people can post more about working Border's than Lakies isn't it They 'were' the preffered Terrier of choice and now look to be an also ran behind the AK47 of all terriers , the Black fecker.
  19. How feckin disapointing, the world ending with Labour in power Fancy that, they have actually gone one better than the '70's strikes I WAS going fishing of Brid on Friday but that's all feckin ruined now as well B'stard government
  20. Not wanting to start a fight but if I paid £300+ for a locator system i wouldn't say it was crap either. All the avalanche kit does the same thing mate, it's all on the same frequency and works pretty much the same. What you, me or anyone else is happy with is up to them and I wouldn't try and influence you in any way. As long as you use some sort of collar and locator, be it a Deben, Ortovox, Pieps or Barryvox makes no difference. You do the best you can for the right results. Lets be honest, 5 year ago we were all digging ( 5 month in my case ) using Deben 15 foot kit and did
  21. Thyr'e all different, the ones I've had anyway. Best description of waiting for a Border to work I have heard is liken it to a squeezy Ketchup bottle. Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing just about to give in and a plateful at once.
  22. What I meant by this is, if you have dug say 12" and the tube is deaper than that depth and cannot be made to support any weight, then I cave it in. In my opinion, repairing at this shallow depth all you make is something more ready to cave in than the rest of the spot. From the pictures above, it reminds me of a 'hollow' place I work, tubes running inches below the surface and naturally collapsing over time. Don't know if that makes sense now
