Out today trialling my Ortovox , German thingy locator. No probs at all. Nice size and easy change battery and on off switch. The gear is all the same frequency, so if you buy Ortovox, Barryvox or Pieps it doesn't matter. They all have the same warranty, they all do the same job and it's how you get on with them that matters. The way you attach the Ortovox locator to your collar is the only stumbling block for those of us with no imagination. Like I said, tested today in a big spot and found the terrier easily. Cost versus a B&F set, for my stuff about £50.

It don't matter what size they are as long as he does the job and your happy Rio. Personally I like them a bit smaller but I have had big dogs as well, you don't know the exact measurments your gonna get out of a pup, so the work comes before the size and looks in my opinion. And that lad there, is a grafter, best of luck with him mate.

Nice to go out now and then, nice to stop in as well. The place don't matter it's the company you keep that makes a night out in my opinion. Agree with Dorris though, I f'ckin hate loud music, it makes me violent.
