    .22 is more accurate then a 9mm so in theroy should be more accurate the hk version.........i cant find any orgininal hk mp5 chambered for .22 or even a straight pull (9mm) one.....although given what the orgininal hk is designed for, i dont think it would be taken seriously either as a target or hunting weapon as well.

    Just bought a webley 812 shotgun in walnut to 'cheer my self up' lol its got re-desinged piston and works really well no feed problems with standard 28g loads, i took it clay pigeon shooting on the weekend and i got more clays then i ever done before! it strips without any tools and its simple to take and put togather, and it was still clean after 70 shots through it!! I'm going to do some practical shotgun this week, will a full choke work on buckshot? I've heard it can deform the pellets and cause large patterns instead? cheers

    Is it ture eg. if you have a semi auto shot gun with a 3inc chamber and you use 3inc magnum shells, you lose one shell in the mag because of the extra length??

    AR 15 with 12x scope but makes sure its a actual armalite not a knock off.

    personally i would just reload the rifle, but at point blank range a pistol will kill it!.....you only need 3ft ILB (i think) to get to the organs or the brain. there have been stories of people being killed after being shot in the head with air pistols! But you really want to make sure of clean kill though!

    Cheers, will keep mine in the gun safe, would be nice if i could keep it in my ammo safe (lockable container) as i've got 2 brococks in the safe in all.

    Sc 3 of the firearms act 1968 deals with Business and other transactions with firearms and ammunition. air weapons are mationed in Sc1(3B) exampting air weapons from the FAC requirement. the term 'air weapon' is not defined but the dangerious air weapons rules 1969 stated the legal limit powers for air guns

    Correct, if you want to own a short barrell shot gun ie. under 24" you need to get an FAC and provide a good reason.

    did they point the glocks at you ?? ........there is no common sense no more.....they could have sent an unarmed copper to have a look without being noticed first to check you out . also (in theory) if you drop the gun and put your hands in the air....but refuse to get down on floor in the mud they CANT shoot you as you are NOT presenting a danger to life......then again..........

    hi, does anyone know with a proofed mod, signed on my ticket does it need to be locked up in a gun safe or a lockable container or can it be left unsecured??

    i take it youve been turned down for a certain firearm calibre ? they have to have some kind of restrictions on the type of firearms people can hold. i think that if someone can show a neccessary need to hold a firearm then thats ok, but if not, why should they have it. i think the whole idea with the shotgun vs the firearm is that less damage can be done with a shotgun a long distances. rich No i havent been turned down for anything. If someone is vetted and can be intrusted to hold firearms why should he need a good reason!! Most countries in europe dont have this go

    i think the whole FAC issue is load of bollocks...eg. you can be trusted to own a firearm but not trusted to hold any amount of ammo you want!! or any legal firearm! the good reason is just crap!! the Bill of Rights Act 1689 gave us the right to keep and bear arms...thats ware the armericans got they 2nd amendment. my point being, after being vetted, and thus can be tusted to hold a firearm without danger to the public, how does it make sense to have ammo restrictsions and to justfiy every gun you want to have!! if you can be tusted to hold firearms that should be the end of the matter!!! it s

    this may sound like a stupid question...if you have acess to farm or pravate land which is in the middle of no ware, can you mount a touch under your shotgun and shoot it at night?? e.g. rabbits etc? anyone do this?

    that chelsea shooting didnt help, that guy was on anti dipessants.....so i can imgain (for the time bering) they might be pretty hard on that aspect......unless daily mail find out that people who have ever taken anti dispressants are issued with a shot gun ticket then the shitty government will prob ban such people! since crappy rags such as daily mail and sun now make the laws!

    I think this law is a load of bullshit of the highest order....you are deemed safe enough to be given a shotgun ticket but not trusted enough to hold any type of shotgun ammo!!! like with the fac you only entitled to hold a certain amount again a load of shit!!! if tusted to own a firearm you should be allowed to have any amount or any type of ammo for it. The yanks have got this right...where if you pass a background check, or given a permit you are entitled to own any type and any amount of ammo!
