  1. Will second that, chambers have always been polite and helpfull, but 35 quid for a foresight is a bit steep so hoped someone would have a second hand one cheaper. Will keep looking.
  2. Cheers lads I had seen the ones on ebay but I know fine well I can get one from chambers for 35 quid but thought I might get one cheaper on here.
  3. Probably both the same accuracy wise. Try them both if you can and see what one ballances better.
  4. Hi all, I posted this in the wanted section but no replies, please help. Hi all. I am after an HW break barrel foresight in good condition with at least one insert. The foresights are the same for all the break barrel models. Will pay £10 for one in good nick with one insert or a few quid more for one with all five inserts. If you have one you want to sell send me an e-mail at bourne.richard@googlemail.com Thanks.
  5. Would go with Hw99 myself, 200 new so should get a second hand one for 150, sorry Andy.
  6. Just found H and N do a .20 hollow point, maybe try them?
  7. Had a look for you but nothing, thought maybe bisely practice might come in .20 but no. Maybe a heavier, slower pellet might help, bisely mags perhaps?
  8. Fair point, just saw them and wondered if they were any good.
  9. Hi all, haven't been on for a while. Has anybody used those see through mounts which let you look under the scope and through the open sights? Am thinking of getting some but wonder if they are solid enough. I want a one-peice set as I woukld use them with my springer. I think they would be good for when your quarry is so close you can only see a blurred shape and need to aim high. Anybody had any experiece with these?
  10. Hi mate, good rifle, the E is the rarer delux version of the 35. Wont do 12 very happily though, a smooth 10.5 is the best you can hope for which is fine for hunting at medium range. Value would depend on condition.
  11. I think the grub screw is imperial, so you will need an imperial set of alen keys. I have this rifle, webley sold a muzzle break for it, it's not a silencer but it looks good, nice blued finish and keeps the gun original. I have one spare since my tracker is only an open sights plinker, do you want to buy the muzzle break? It has a few scratches. PM me for details if you want it.
  12. If you want to spend money on it buy the trigger upgrade from chambers.
  13. Don't understand phantom, vulcans are around the 10-11ft/lbs mark anyway so if the pellet spends less time in the barrel it must be going faster and so the rifle would be more powerfull? I would leave it, if it's not broke don't fix it. Should be good for bunnies to 30 yards.
  14. I would leave it, people make too much fuss about barrel length and I can't see the need to cut down such a nice rifle. If you must do it get a good gun smith to do it so it gets properly re-crowned or accuracy will suffer, it may anyway as you will loose the choke.
  15. Hi all, my .22 springer was loosing accuracy, kept getting inch and a half groups at normal ranges. Cleaned the barrel and what a difference, half inch groups straight away, don't think it was that good when new.
