I did not post the video on the web, American hobbies did a special on the hobby and had it on a private website. It was voted the top video of the year so they posted it on YouTube without me knowing. As for the backhoe it was only brought in after I had broke through three times with the spade and the badger kept digging on with the (one dog) attached. The backhoe was nice because we back filled it right in and planted seed and two weeks later you could barley see where we dug. First and only time we had that luxury. I don't understand. If you broke through 3 times with a dog attached and

McKay makes some good points about the size of the US and the vast distance that can be between people here that work terriers. He is correct that badger are not legal in every state. In fact sub species can and do very within some states. I have dug several with both black and white dogs in 3 different states, but never with a backhoe. Nebo, I do have a couple questions for you. Did you use the backhoe because the badger dug away from the dog? Did the dog have the badger in grips but you couldn't get to the dog? Did you use it so you could trench down ahead of the last locate you had on the d

I must be a little slow becouse you lost me with this one Mosby. I will agree there can be a difference in size preferred. Maybe some what dependent on type of Quarry being hunted? Other than that most everyone I have hunted with are striving for simular traits. Mosby, I stand corrected. When you said "terriers" I automaticly thought/assumed you were talking "earth dogs". I now remember the meaning of ASSUME, and no longer need to post on this thread.

Edwards-I first met you on the www, same as Mosby ...did I treat you unfair, or try to tell you how you should do things? Take care. Doc, I also met you first on the www also. Then a few times in person, and my answer to the above questions are NO and NO. Not taking sides or getting in the middle, just saying.................... -
Mosby, in my opinion money and dogs don't mix so in turn I don't sell any terriers or stags. We just breed for ourselfs and only let a few pups out to hopefully like minded people. One hopes those people will have enough respect for the dogs to raise them right and report back (both good and bad) but sadly that is not allways the case. If it all works out passing a pup on to someone GREAT. If it does not work so good why worry about spilt milk. I don't understand what you are "protecting" or trying to protect? If a person is breeding for there self they have a choice to keep what they want an
