This maybe a little late, but this is my way and its always popular, 4lb blackberries,100g raw cane sugar and 1 litre of cheap whiskey.Put everything into a demi john, fit bung and shake until sugar dissolved,then leave in a cool dark place for at least 3 months shaking once a week.Strain, bottle and enjoy. ps.hide a little bottle away yourself as i find it dissapears otherwise.
