  10. I have had her out with the lamp just to see if she showed intrest, she seems to look everywhere but down the lamp, i didn't expect anything else really, I have been trying to find some good daytime rabbits for her but our area doesn't hold many!! Thinking about getting her out on the lamp, just concerned she'll chase and not know mentally what to do. What do you think?
  11. Hello All, First of all thanks to to Ian for keeping the site running I have a ¾ Bedlington ¼ Greyhound (Onyx, Nyx for short), she is now almost 8 month old, below are some photos from the day I picked her up (10wk old) to present. She is my first Lurcher so all advice is welcome, I have spent the last 8months on this forum sifting through pages of posts and trying to get a good idea for the do’s and don’ts which is one of the good things about THL. I’m not totally new to hunting but coursing with dogs I am. One of the main topics that seems to get many varied

  13. He looks a nice dog mate!! I have a 3/4 grey 1/4 bedlington bitch at about 6mnths, the sire was around 24.5tts and dame 26.5tts she is roughly the same size as your pup maybe slighlty less leggy, i was told by her breeder she would reach around 23/24tts. My guess for yours would be around 24/25tts
  14. Hi Evryone!! I am very new to the Lurcher world and need a bit of advice, I have a 3/4 Bedlintgon 1/4 Greyhound called Onyx, she is approx 6mnths her obediance training is coming on well, i keep her on the lead all the time except when i let her have a little blast about on a nice cut grass field (on her own). 2 days ago i let her out of the kennel who she shares with my 3year ESS, i always make them wait and sit until i open the door so they learn not to barge there way out, however when i say ok they have a mad dash about on the garden, while i was in the shed sorting Onyx's afte
