  3. hi mate it sounds like theres not enough pressure to push the pellet out of the barrel or the transfer port isnt aligned with the barrel you could try to get it resprung and also check the transfer port (which is the hole that the pressure comes out of the breech)to see if it is inline with the barrel as for gunshops in cornwall try this google gunsmith links

  14. well its upto you mate i have a stadard cylinder on my brocock and it averages out to 1 pump for every shot and trust the end of the pumping for say the last 30 bar its very hard going
  15. ebay rifle scope try that doesnt lok a bad scope and within budget regards john
  16. first a warm welcom to the hunting life best thing i can suggest is get yourself down to our local gunshop and see if they will let you ty before you buy or at worse case let you hae a look at the gun before you buy it some people find the Weihrauch guns to be quite heavy i myself have a hw77k and i must say it is a little heavy but i find it managble but as for hunting the gun cetainly is upto the task of dispatching vermin out to the normal limits aof 35 yards as for the scope you can spend from £30 to £300 pounds it really does depend on your budget
  17. most of the things i have read on pellets say that domed pellets are alot more accurate than pointed ones because pointed ones cn be damaged alot easyer that domed head pellets i use air arms feild and wasps there both good pellets try also useing some of the rws pellets there great pellets and a little cheaper than some of the top brands of pellets
  18. i havent heard of any big cat sightings up by me but that doesnt mean there arnt any would be interesting to see if anyone on here had seen a big cat
  19. what you can do is get a cuddly toy rabbit some black pudding and some blended cat food put the toy rabbit belly up with the white fur showing pour out the cat food goop and sprinkle out the cubed black pudding that was the advise in the last airgun world mag
  20. could do with a little more info on why the ranges are 100+ yards Tried getting closer with ordinary air rifle but 40 yds and they are off and dont come back in numbers. 100yds and I can pop all night with no problems. this is in no way ment as a derogatory comment to non airgun shooters but it may help getting one with a bit of airgung expearence to give ya a hand as they generally have more expearence in stalking closer because of haveing to
  21. could do with a little more info on why the ranges are 100+ yards
  22. Genuine Tasco scopes are good value, the quality of the chinky covers is a bit suspect but they do work ok, plenty good enough for a bit of plinking. As you have an AA S410 I'd recomend you buy a good used scope. i would agree with ratman2 it would be a shame to have such a nice gun as an s400 and put a cruddy scope on it it would be like putting a scoda badge on a bugatti varon
  23. sweet looking spot mate you better invest in some good walking boots
