    38 yrs ago i was emigrating i put an add in the local paper selling bull/fox for digging brock it was illegal , put my address down as had no phone , dog was gone in 2 days had no hasell , but for 3months after i left they were still people calling to my mothers house looking to buy the dog .

    I also go out with the same pack (my dads pack ) , these dogs aren't your usual couple of squeaks and Come off scent , they'll go all day and never give up , have yet to see anything find like them or put so much pressure on their game in cover and very easy to keep in the kennel , have to say micks a great man to keep up with them in a van I could walk into any dog pound and walk out with a mongrel bred terrier residing their and educate it to become a more than useful mutt bushing and ratching about,as an earth dog it would be a gamble but for £40 id take me chances,id not gamble many,m

    i suppose the finance peopl.e will say we are . but i think the only good thing we got are our main roads . now everything else goin to s**t , health service , houseing etc etc. all decisions come from brussels through dublin . i hope ye go and put it up to them.

    i go out with a lad who hunts a few teckels , bassets & crossbreds, hes just retired his main finder pure teckel 8'1/2 yrs his main digging dog is pure teckel all fox , no papers he gets out what he puts into them , i would rate them highly i wouldnt care bout papers ,if i was goin for a pup would have to see parents doing a bit .

    hi would that oil based tarmac sealer be any good for it , seems cheap enough so would be able to do it yearly , not for kennels just the shed part , the concrete is s##t as i done it myself so would be a waste putting paint on it .

    went to wales 3 weeks ago with 3 dogs all had passports got stopped and checked all fine , dropped dogs off and was offered a 10 mth old dog which I couldn't refuse on the way back got stopped again checked van and waved on not even mentioning dog who had nothing what so ever , my own take on it is you would be fine with only one dog . ps I think the only reason I got stopped was the transit

    could you tell us what you made the prongs from . was gonna use the prongs from two small pick axes ,what do you reckon ?

    good for sticks, strip the bark and stain it or leave it natural beautiful just varnished also great for getting forks for thumb sticks or cattys , if theres a lot about have a look for a suitable stick comeing off a main trunk or branch and try an pull it off if it works you should have something like a cobras head to work with im surrounded by the stuff im fighting a looseing battle to keep it at bay

    so far its basset x basset due in feb , teckle x teckle due mid feb not mine , and waitng for my basset,beagle,teckle to come in heat hopefully this month back to a pure basset dog , none for sale will be shared between like minded mates .

    thanks bud just spent 2hrs on this site was wondering [ no it didnt hurt ] about the lock picks , dose anyone know much about them, got locked in forestery a few times and was thinking a set might be handy if it was easy enough to pick up the knack????????
