This book is excellent its witout a doubt one of the best terrier books yet and ive read a few ,its full of great pics and your imagination goes right into it as if you are their ,you have done a great job of this book a must for any one whos into hunting with dogs WELL DONE . Had it as a present of my kids for xmas Book no 10 , cant wait for your next one ???? cheers good hunting Neil
  2. Cheers i hope they come on good i have put a lot of time into these pups i got two as my son is so interested in hunting i hope he follows what i enjoy so much ,Heres my other a bitch pup out of a different litter whippet x bed/colie/grey
  3. thats a nice looking pup you have thare a bet your son will be over the moon Yes he has just finished eating rabbit stew ,I think its important not only to get em out hunting but to taste what they catch also ,he has no probs he always asking for phesant ,rabbit as he enjoys it ,thanks for your comment
  4. My sons bedlington x colie /greyhounds first catch whilst out ferriting today, we only took em to get used to going out they only been a few times and a good catch after a bolt into a nice big feild ,They both pleased as punch age 7 and dog age 10mth,.
  5. Good feed ,good housing,rest and plenty of care and respect to your little warrier and plenty of WORK will ensure they are in tip top nick HAPPY XMAS :weight_lift2: there is plenty of out of season work to sharpen em up

I have for sale a book called THE TRADITIONAL WORKING TERRIER by sean frain ,covers some great topics on terriers ,hunting, breeding,puppies ETC ,This is a paper back book in good condition 159 pages plenty of photos i am asking £16.50 for this inc postage to uk mainland only it will be dispatched upon me reciving cleared payment in full will be sent registerd post i have read this book and am having a good clear out of stuff to raise some money for a new lamp thanks--
  7. I would use dust free hay or if you got acess to white grass (feg) that can be useful be carful with clothing as their claws can get caught in it and cause some serious damage I KNOW !!!

  9. The dog that is out of condition is the one that tends to get injured the most ,in general if a dog is kept in tip top shape irelevent to its type tends to fair well on all terains and conditions good feed good managment good results in the feild HAPPY HUNTING

Iam not a fan of huge dogs yours looks normal ,Ive had some bigish ones that you cant span and they pused in where small terriers have failed , if their determined they get their no probs a good chest space is important in a worker everyone will have different opinions i would say if it does what you want f**k what anyone else says
  11. clulite is a tidy set up you got a small side bulb ideal for opening gates etc ,everone will have their favorites but it quality set up i think

Dont feed either if you know any thing about the poisen thats put down for these pests regularly by different farmers pest control etc it can pass from one dead animal into what ever eats it be very carful if you do, try and avoid alltogether ,stick to rabbit thats been guted or dry ferret food they both cheep enough rabbit should be self soursed if you work them cut up with skins on and freeze for another day

  15. Beddy cross greyhound type or colie cross as long as its from good working stock you be ok

  18. Why didnt you slip dogs on it? if it where me with the ground being wet this time of year i would look for foot print and cut out and cast it as evidence

Breacking trough by jonney bluck on this forum now look for new terrier book ,other good ones by D harcombe the world of the working terrier and badger digging with terriers he also is author of earth dog running dog monthley magazine witch is avalable to the states for£30 for six months or &£52 for a year some great reading
