Its not nice to see dogs end up in dog homes ,but if the jokers that enter the hunting way of life,for only for a short period stoped trying to make a quik buck by thinking they know or got good workers themseves ,and stuck to some other sport such as golf , there wouldnt be this problem of second rate dogs in the working world ,and if you notice they are the ones that make a bad name for the true hunting men & women ,only breed of the best for the best ,its a way of life for me and many others, if it aint in you, you cant buy it no matter how much cash you got ,good hunting to the genuin

I have earth dog and running dog bounded together in a book style (VOL 4 ) not one that you add issues into your self but one done profesionaly buy feild fare it has 12 issues inside and none of these are damaged at all , it goes from issue 37 (may 1995) to issue 48 (april 1996) supurbly bound item, a rare peice any one else got it and what do you recon its worth?? any one interested let me know as i will be putting on e bay this weekend tought some dog men would like 1st chance before it goes on there?

I was in my younger days , at the age of 17 i had some pups which i advertised in countrymans weekly (shooting news) back then patterdale /fell type terriers two sisters just started on most quarry , I moved out of home to a flat and could only take 1 dog with me at the time ,any way cut the story a guy came up from plymouth in a mk1 escort estate and purchased them of me ,he said origanly he only wanted 1 when he seen them he wanted both but only could give me cheque for the other ,yes you geust he stoped the cheque plymouth was a long way from my home in mid wales back then and i was young

Been looking at an old photo of my grandfathers of some dog men on a farm in mid wales where they cutting corn the old way and some men with strong type lurchers resembling bull types where very popular back then according to him ,various other types of crosses also they used to wait around and when they cut around the outside and work their way in the game would make a run for it and they would seize the oppotunity to course some wide variity of game ,fox rabbit, hare ,deer i will try and get the picture copied and get it up on here some time in the future he knows most of the families on t
  14. every evening if they not working, vary the times tough some times after work as soon as home or last thing at night no depends

  17. They be muck boots then they really warm and light well worth the money get the ones with the grippy soles as other ones not much use on banks etc , i got some for my boy and he never complains about his feet getting cold no more
  18. Ive never pushed him , his curiosity got the better of him at about 5 and i cant go without him now ,i dont mind better that than him stuck in all day

Heres my young ones out today waiting for a bolt ,ferreting in mid wales very cold and frosty ,my son 7,red bitch whippet x beddy/collie /grey 10mths ,and other dog beddy x collie/ grey just over 10 mths breaking them in slowly ,stock broke and jumping comming on great ,I think its important to bring youngsters into feild sports as it teaches them so much about the country side and way of life ,Ill be happy if he keeps up the way he is now and follows my way of life that i love ,good hunting to all in 2009
  20. Looks a tidy size to me ,Had a lot bigger i find they not to quik through berrys and my choice would be a hob of simular size every time
  21. I fancy a small spaniel /spaniel type for just flushing rabbits to the lurchers ,not for feild trailing or any fancy stuf just good hard graft hedgerows and rough what they like ?? looks like a good team you got their mate

I think itsa duff site as they wouldnt be selling on ebay for £100 plus ,however if it is genuine they will be swamped with calls if anyone buys one no probs .What is it then are the new collars and boxes no good? as i got old 1 working fine at moment ,and you would think deben would reproduce the old type if their in such demand
