    THE wife dug was not a bad racer for her, caught his 1st fully grown rabbit at 10 months and never looked back, ,,about 7 1/2 year old now ,and still bashing a few bunnys and showning no sighns off slowing up just yet ,,3/4 whip 1/4 grey cross

    iam no being funny,,,,ive seen a whip/grey not many ,,,,take a hare with 200yd law,,,very few and between ive also seen whip/ grey take a hare and after another 2mins later and there pretty fu@ked but ive never seen a pure whippet with decent ,,slip take a hare easy small feilds and not fens ,,,,,lol sorry i had to giggle lol,,,,there,s pleanty big feilds around the country barr the bloody fens whip grey will do them,,,,pure,s less often

    difficult one chart,,,,blood there,,,but in same way one was better than the other ,,weather it down work , speed , agillity,,,,OR EVEN ,,,not much between them,,,but the 2nd best produced the better offspring,,,as iam sure chart u know that can happen when speeds involed what i go by if crossed with that fork in the road,,,is easy which one had less injurys ,,or which one had the longest career ,,ect ect ect ,,,and which one is most bidible to work with but in your question one was a pet other was not,,,,its in the blood ,yes, but it aint worth the risk somtimes,,,other times best doe

    iam just going to lev it at that birddog lets just say i would rather a lad like my dog for what it was,,,not colour ect ect,,,as he thought it was fitt for purpose,,,,and i dont expect him to be ,,,a total expert ,,,on every dog breed for £1 entry its not crufts afterall

    conformation does come in to it birddog,,,but i aint a kc breeder,,,or kc trainer,,,iam i,,,,and neather is alot of guy that have lurchers or into terriers hence i will always decline to judge,,,its too much to take in ,,,for any judge to know EVERYTHING about diffrent dogs breeds at the shows and anyone says they know all THE dog breed,s and cross breeds inside out ,,,well it takes some doing lol good luck to them lol

    I like All kinds of running dog so if there needin a judge next year ill say yes ) be as we'll it can't be that hard pick a dog that looks like it gets a lot of work and kept well simple job done then don't go on thl for a couple of weeks lol sh@te,,,ive just remebered i need to feed ur ugly ferrets today,,,,they wouldnt win any shows,,,,they better not bite me ,,pmsl ,,,,fanny boy

    ive been asked on many times to judge ,,,for being in running dogs and family being in lurchers and terriers ,,,since ive been able to walk ive always declined why??? cos there so much varity ,,how would i choose to make everyone happy would i go for rough coated ,,would i go for smooth coated,,,,would i lev a dog out cos it was carrying an injury,,,??? if injury i thought wasnt well treated i dont read books on dogs just what ive learnt,,will come into play,,,is my experence enough???? who iam i to say this dogs better than the next ??? i thought about it,,,,i can only pic

    a whip /grey pre ban 1990 once she tuck in behind one and was in the zone ,,dead hare,,,could run a good few minutes aswell,,if hare knew what it was doing hare nearly as big as dog lol and litter mate from years ago only 3 in litter no one knows about 3rd dog ,,had a taste for a race in the feilds,,,,and a taste for retriving patrige home for tea too lol
