    ok ill put another blue one up,,,,bess if my memory serves me right she was 1/4 grey 3/4 whippet 23inch she was a do or die dog,,,has tooken bigger game made it look very easy,,,i gave her up due to me only keeping dog,s now ,,,and having a bitch around would have been too tempting to have litter, and not having the room,,,,i have big regrets letting her go,,,but she,s doing well with new owner in fife area,,she,ll be near veteran now

    if she was racing chris ,,,there still be few pound going on although some racer,s do strip them down to get bigger head start sad really ,,,,good on u for taking her on be perpared she might never put weight on ,,,see this happen too often ,,,young whippet pup,s not feed much ,,,when they become adults they dont have much off an appetite ( most people when they get whippet pup,s or whip/crosses,,,,feed them everything they want as pup,s ,,then when pup turn 1 yearold ,,you run the fat off them , nice pic,s off crush mate ,,,she looks nice and fat like a labadour,,,the way young

Just my opinion tho. everyones opinion diffrent,,,and i respect that ( dog,s are diffrent ,,,owners opinion,s should also be diffrent the way it should be Aye thats right mate - shouldnt spend life trying to convert everyone to one view. I think what i do because i have seen very good obediant steady lamp dogs be taken off lamping for say a year and given lots and lots and lots of daytime hunting (not ferreting) which they took to and excelled at and then when put back on the lamp a year later they use their nose A LOT.     MY white parti runs daytime ,, rabbits only,,,less time on lamp but stays to heal,,on command run lamp catch or miss , retrives or if misses comes back to me ,,,but i dont have to turn off lamp,,he just looks to me for next run,,,he,s a racer so surly if he does that ,,,,most lurcher,s that would be the norm,,,as they are brought up that way as pup,s,,,and good handler will make sure off that with the exceptions off some hunting dogs are some can be a pain to train,,,nothing to do with handler ,,some dogs are just head strong if iam honest ,,,i reckon if my racer didnt stay in house

    i agree with u some ferrets didnt like gettin bittin,,,,and didnt like going back in,,,i used to hear them gettin bitten some came out,,and ran back down like there were pissed off and mad to sort the rats out,,,lol,,,usally the older ferret were bonkers on rats,,,,,younger ones,,,they were hit or miss,,,but i find ferrets liked a good scrap,,,but gettin bitten like most animals hated it lol came out gave themselfs a good shake off and went back in ,,,but i did find later in day they did get abit sick off gettin bitten,,,but come following week they were game for it again lol and rat would bol

    if ur can produce jag paper,s at ur local whippet track,,,,and pay membership as most is about tenner ayear,,,,and u think ur dog will chase a lure ,,,they probably let ur dog trail up a race track,,,,as up in a scottish club they let beagle,s run and all sorts,off dogs,,,as ur payed up member and u can trail what u want there also agilty clubs ,s that will let ur dog have a go,,,most are agility and racing clubs are a good weekend thing to get u outdoors ,,,but its all good to get out with ur dog,,,,and making the ,most off it, and meeting new peoples that have same intrest ( dogs ) what

    used ferrets ,,on rat sets ,,when i use to keeper,,,i used to shove all the jill,s in i had in,,as i thought they did better ganged up togther,,,never lost any to rats, but found they werent as keen in afternoon when they got a few bites in morning,,i just shot them when they were bolting ,,,i could,nt load fast enough lol
