    pic was while back,,,at time deneside bella was racing that year he was no limit meaning he was over 40lb ,,,i dont know excact weight as over 40lb then they race off scratch ,,so it aint impostant what he weighed at scales,,,at a guess i would say 45lb to 50lb height wise a guess again 25inch,,,when i saw him he travel up to scotland ,,,so i dont know excact height and weight its changed now with non peds ,,,,there,s a breeding and weight capp now,,,there trying to bring size down,,,and less grey now good news for some the racing non peds in scotland,,,dont know about rest of

    culling pup,s from alitter and let be honest,,,most litter,s are healthy but some might be the runt or weak in litter ,,,but are healthy,,,,thrive when away from litter but i do agree ,,,,if pup has defect , best to end it quick,,,,but it,s far and few between when i here off breedings and no ones gettin one ,,,barr mates,,,the rest is gettin culled,,,i think to myself why dont you give the outsider a chance,,,,him or her might supsrie u,,,and so called culled pup might turn out a bealter 9times out off 10 they do culling pups early from a breeder point off few always int

    iam not saying keep whip/grey away from flat feilds ect,,,,,but as pups i give them abit off cover as they know no better at that time and if you start them early,,,if given abit off cover hunting,,,when your in an open feild ,,,they dont chase up at 40mph,,,they keep there head but there very compedive breed,,,if other dogs are on the slip at same time,,,they will take off at neck breaking speed unfurtuntly its the breeds down fall,,and pll,s dont notice,,,if hunting on there own ,their fine , hunting with another dog,they tend to want to get there 1st and make big mistakes ,,,

    there is always a thing off too much speed and not enough brains,,,,hence the lurcher i race mine mate at non ped clubs and derbys ,,,but when i aint doing that,,,i take mine out on early or late daytime mooch,,,,,i find when pups,,,DONT RUN THEM IN FLAT GRASS FEILDS lol as pups,,,but train them to long grass or cover 1st,,,,so they learn to twist and turn and out fox there prey,,,,ie,,,they quickly learn they dont have to run 40mph to catch a 25mph rabbit what i will say,,,in general ,,dont let a young whip/grey run in woodland ,,,unless there wise to it good luck,,,7month still

    a whippet x greyhound is best 1st cross,,,,as they giv ya speed ,, which isnt the end all ect ect but thats what you get from that 1st cross put a collie 1st cross,,,ull get the brains ,,,but what if it doesnt throw towards the racing lines,,,its 1st cross might fall short in speed if thrown more towards collie ( iam not saying collie slow by all means ,,,but a pure collie will fail when speed required,ect ect) the bull x grey,,,,is as we know hit or miss,,,,same as a beddie whippet,,,,,were golf course rabbit ,,,will rrun away from daytime end off day sulkie /greys will do it d

    have you heard the word , homer ??? cash in hand look at this way,,,u work pay tax,,,for those that dont work,,,,then u pay tax on fuel,,,food / clothes /inherance ,,,ect ect ect if u work fulltime and pay yer tax,,,and odd job is a homer cash in hand ,,,seems fair to me but if yer earning bucket loads ,,,not paying tax,,,its in yer best intrest to make it legal as they will catch you,,,,or somone will shop you,,,,,,and youll lose a good thing youve got going,,,cut off point is up to you

    this is the dog , i always look back at 15th month old,,,,rabbit/cat ect anything daft,,,,could have went fat and bully type,,,,i worked hard / trained hard,,,,to get him in this contion,,,few days off work spent with him,,,but he got injured,,ended up in good pet home,,,,jaw power ive never seen before in a whippet type,,,,except in bully throw backs,,,,he was quick at going fat,,unless i kept going 6/8 miles a day,,,he loved excise,,,loved his food more skinny sratch racer,,,,at olny 41lb at 25inch,,,but i think i did a good job,,,defo not a sprinter,,,but fittness/ correct food/

    funny that,,,,last staffie that attacked my old dog was called tyson,,,no harm done ,,,staffie got ripped ears,,,,but he would have killed my old whip cross,,,,,told owner to put muzzel on him,,,nothing else said,,,,now neibours are telling me she,s throwing him out her door,,,,no lead no persons with him,,,,( she was warned,,,if attacks any my dogs again,,,he wont be coming home, this time,,,,i hate these type off breeds if they belong to numbtie,s,,,,,,otherwise most are fine

    b vitimans supplement are good for dogs,ect ect any vet will tell u that keep it simple,,,,fish in sunflower oil packed with vit e and oily fish,,,,,fish and tomato,,,again oily fish ,tomatoe helps dog not crapping up iron ---liver ect ect mixed with any complete dog food ect ect the wife,s out off date steak mince she,s throwing out is always a plus to give to yer dogs ect ect ( also plls ALL GO ON ABOUT FOOD,,,keep yer dogs teeth in good nick,,,throw them a bone or chew once a week,,,seen it too much,,,dogs a 3/4year old worst teeth than a 7/8 yearold +,,,often over look

    got 3/4 whip 1/4 grey 20 inch,,,,,had a slightly bigger one 23inch in 2006 and few more in past these are the types i highley recommed ,,never ever see much for sale either not everyoes cup off tea,,or dont come up for sale tha often due to them tooken before hand,,i dont know??? ones ive had never been a dud,,,,,,,,after 6month i take mine out and build up there miles SLOWLY ( excerise),,,as if you take pups out for major walks earlyier, they can suffer from inflamed toe joints later in life,,i,e --- too much repetatide training at young age,,,,give them time as pup,,,even a collie, breed

    depends on size dogs going to make,,,,,,smaller the breed ,,,usally means earilier u can start it,,,whippet or trerrier breeds also bitches tend to come on quicker than ,,,the male sex,,,,i,e in racing u normally get good idea off a bitch at 12/14month,,,,but a male 15/17 month ( rough gide) male dogs come on later as a whippet/grey man,,,,,i find the pup that has longer to grow and size,,,tends to take longer what iam saying,,,,,its ur dog,,,ull know in 70,s and ,s ,,,,plls brought on there dogs alot earlyier,,,,nowadays due to vet exspecive bills,,,lev them till later ,,, rat

    i had a bet with sarah ,,,i would get reaction,,, iam quids i now let see if i get another,,,,ive got few words,,,,booker s sup lurcher champ at 11 month,s old,,,,lurcher guys didnt see that wee fawn dog coming ,,,1988,,,,,,162 lurcher,s/longdogs lol lol,,,,they were good times,,,,loads off lurchers/whippets /long dogs ,and terrier,s,,,,and bloody good crack at shows,,,as some some shows are ow ,,,without the internet and negative comments,,,,back then,, they all met up ,,,few beers and had a good laugh,,,waiting for hunting season to start again

    NOT TINNED RICH LOL,,,,hope u put a complaint in,,,,when i was an gamekeeper ,,,we had someone from new zealand ,,,in beating line he thought moles were haggis,,,and wanted to go hunting them with his rifle pmsl i didnt have the heart to tell him ;) but what i did say they were very hard to catch,,,ad found only in highlands lol pic off whippet cross in burnt heather ,,,not recommened,,,on oldmans beat ,,,they can tear themselfs to shreads if the go flatt out,,,he was fine,,,no haggis that day lol
