here ya go mind [BANNED TEXT] training yer whipxgrey son,,,bowling greens aren't the best place for ur pup to learn ,,,( I,e take pup to long grass fields ect learn pup to curve its speed ,,these places lean ur young whip/grey to learn rabbits will twist and turn and they don't need to be in 6th gear all the time,,,i,e learn them to use there little brain 1st

i know the older generation from me ,,,started early I for one play it by ear,,,mistakes happen during the day ,,but when a pup has nose,ed one out from cover,,ect,,,do u stand there shouting,,,???? And that goes for any type, from the couple that I owned and others that I've seen, guts was the one thing they were never found wanting yes true happens in all breeds....another thing preban some whip/greys aint that big,,and when matched way squeaker which is pretty much there size,,it can be a bit o a fight ,plus that can sometimes lay them up for a few weeks when sometimes the owners of the smaller types over match them ,,,which is no good if ur trying to clear rabbits for a farmer...

just to keep the rabbiting dog topic going couple mare pic,s from last week pup on lead ,light in other hand ,,two older dogs working off slip out at 8.30pm back to motor by 9.45pm,,,couldnt go far had my pup way us plus I couldn't carry anymore lol picked a couple more on way back to motor

I have the one up from the 800,the dereelight xsearcher,,bigger lens wider beam and throws further,,ect,,,I made the mistake of getting the pil that throws the tightest beam and further,,,i should have went for the pill that throws I wider beam and in yellow color ,,white lights fine just takes abit off getting use too having said that its a great torch,,the distance it throws,,is amazing for a torch ,,,and it fits with extention tube in my zip pocket in my combat jacket and it aint that heavy,,and I am always using it

cant say ive had much problem way the feet ,,but I have seen pleanty whip/grey that have maybe its there running style in the field ????maybe I tend to get more sprains on wrist which is gone in couple of days and more what stick oot the ground such as barbwire ect ect I tend to get little scars ,,which is to be expected threw there time in field ,,some cover back up ,,some will always show,,,picture below just one leg of my 3 year old bitch,,,feck knows what her legs going to look like in another 3 year,,pll,s will think I been bad to my dog I expect when walking round the parks way h

i let you know how the wheaten/ whippet/ greyhounds pups are coming on in a year or so JCM ive got one just turned 3 month 16 1/2 inch at moment hairy bitch,,,,and my bro got smooth coated one shes 17 1/2 inch at moment ,,,they both should make an alright size

having said ive not seen a pure wheaten work,the guy that breed his wheaten/bull / grey to my whip/grey,,,,said his wheaten/bull/grey was the best bitch he,s ever owned in over 30years and wished he had got into wheaten/lurchers when he was young as she suited him to a tee not trying to say there the best!!!! altho I never got one out off his bitch me and my brother got a pup each out off 1st cross wheaten /grey,,,same stud dog used,,,are hoping they will do the job and end up good rabbit dogs as that's only what we want them for,,,and not bootlickers lol

I rember a young apprentice vet seen one of my males had it ,i think he had to do a eassay on it,,,one of the things popped up was it might be an alpha thing,,one thing is for sure its very very common in the breed,,don't worry about it -
