    i think here in scotland we are abit more relaxed about non peds ,,racing against lurchers ,,,from what iam seeing over the last few year,possibly is because there,s not many here in scotland that race at lurcher racing when kirkcaldy show on , a couple will enter,and lurcher guys are cool about , maybe its because scottish are more relaxed or they know they wont race against them again the rest off year ,,,or some off the younger lurcher guys love idea to have chance off racing them once and a blue moon ,,to see how there dogs fair ????? most non peds owners wont race with lurcher,s g

    ian the rabbit trappers bringing more lads threw,,,and old felix is coming threw next week and couple more guys from arbroath,,,, i think we have started somthing,,,good to see thou,,,, there,s look like there is a demand in our area for a meet up in summer ,,,even if it just lasts few months every summer its all good

    mostly there from arbroath,,,then carnostie/brottyferry,,,,1/2 guys turning up next week will be from dundee i think this week jarv about 15 folk turned up and there,s a couple more from glen clova/brechin area might show up now and again there was 5 or 6 dogs owners from arbroath this week,,,,but then there would be urself,,and there is couple off terrier boys who didnt know about meeting and who know,s ,,,forfar and montrose are near by might come along aswell and made welcome and matt and mates from outside dundee perth might show up in few weeks iam hoping to sta

    its still early stages,,,at momment just wedesday nights,,,,maybe later on ,,,we could do a sunday once month ,in summer at momment its just meet up and abit banter and old guys can talk about old time,s and share experances off there new and old dog ,,and let them have streach afew more guys are turning up next week,,,so ill keep going as long as there,s an intrest in it,,,,even if it means 3 or 4 month off the summer,,,it breaks the week up arbroath use to have a running dog club in mid ,s ,,,so hopfully with guys round about we can revive it again,,,weather it greyhounds ,whipp

    we must have looked like tinkers ,,,with my transit on park ,lol police had a look then drove off,,ive got them well trained lol,,,,afterall we are the flapping lurcher club lol,,,i think thats were the name flapping came from lol i could be wrong lol i think there was about 15 dogs ,,,5 bwra whips / 7 lurchers and pups and 3 greyhounds see ya,s next week 6pm sharp ive roped ian ,,,on being show judge for kids,,,,and he,s bringing his dogs threw next week

    i thought u were still on operations jarv as ive not seen or heard from u ,,or posting on htl offcourse ur invited,,,and anyone else that wants to come basically we didnt think many would turn up,,,but everyone did and more ,,2night was a trail run they old guys 2night ,,,no half chat away ,,,,basically its to give dogs run ect and have a bleather with each other

    big thankyou to all the guys that showed up to our 1st wedesday night meeting a few greyhound lads a few lurcher guys and non ped guys i know we didnt arvitise meeting we just invited a few and they invited a few more,,good night by all we will go for next wedesday,,,,hopfully it will be the start off somthing bigger local to us ,,as at momment we have nothing in our town

    i would like to add,,,weather its coursing ,,racing dogs , rabbit ,dogs ect ect ect they all reach there peck fittiness once twice a year ect,,,,as owner off ur own dogs , ull get a rough idea when this happens,,,,usally when you come away and say by eck ,,my dog was on fire,,,to keep that peckness ,,half the ur the dogs excirsie ,,when not hunting,,,as u want to keep the dogs peakness going longer , and dog doesnt start running stale

    not a coursing lad,,,but a running dog lad,,,if running on saturday,,,the friday is rest day,,,and sunday is either rest day or like me i like to have them out ,,easyier to see if running about theve picked up any niggles from the saturday mine are 5/6 mile aleast 4 to 5 days a week,,,on walks ,,,all are free running i,e off lead ,,hunting up if they desire,,,there racing breed ,,so i whould assume coursing guys would be wanting to hit alittle above that ,, excirse regime

    dam was 5/8ths grey,,,,and the rest wheaton and bull i cant mind if it was 2/8ths wheat and 1/8ths bull,or vice versa,,ill ask next time i bump into him there was alot off rough/broken coats in litter ,about +% off litter,,,which is unusal as the smooth coat usally the dominant gen,,,weather thats down to abit off line breeding ,,i dont know,,,and there was a shemale in litter????? and he,s decided to use paddy to out cross,,,??? i do know he was looking for alittle more speed from the breeding for what he was wanting them for
