  3. Just thought i would share these photos of my pup. He is now 20 weeks old and 21 inches to the shoulder. We have been practising the basics, recall in the open fields and retreiving. Can't wait until he is ready to start working.
  4. Thanks guys. He is 17 weeks old. I was lead to believe he was a deerhound/greyhound x deerhound/collie/greyhound but i have since found out from the guy that has his brother and is very friendly with the sire's owners that is his breeding is. Sire - Deerhoundxgreyhound Dam- Beddie/whippet/greyhound. Five generations ago there was collie in his breeding. He is doing great now, his weight is coming on nicely.   5. Just thought i would share a few more pics of my pup with you. He is the first Lurcher i have owned for working although my partner has always had them. He hasn't had the best start in life, got him home after picking him up last tuesday and on wednesday morning he was rushed to the vets as he couldn't eat or go to the toilet. He had xrays and ended up being operated on, turned out he had a bacteria infection that was over producing gas and the gas was blocking him up. He is well on his way to recovery these photos were taken just 2 days after his operation. Just need to build his weight back

  7. My Merle cost me £50 from Hancock himself purely because he was six months old when i got him and Hancock needed the space. His normally charges £175 for a pup i think.
  8. Must be some border in there too then? I brought him as a 3/8 beardie 5/8 greyhound. mum full greyhound dad was hancock stud tweedle dee. I was wondering where his mearle came from as i have never seen a beardie with merle but it says beardie/greyhound on my receipt from Hancock.
  9. I Have a 3/8 beardie 5/8 greyhound bred by Hancock. He is Merle. Great dog he is 8 months and standing at 23inches. Just started working seems very keen.
  10. I have 2 whippets, one kc'd and one not, my dog is lord of the knight lines he also has laguna and sooty sam in his breeding. My bitch is not kc'd but a fantasic looking pup.
  11. Good point, just wanted to know if anyone was interested in the pups as we were looking for working homes for them,obviously we wont know what or how many until they are born,
  12. Litter will be due Mid May pups ready to leave Mid July 06. Pups will be tatooed. Dam is 3/8 collie 5/8 greyhound, sire is 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie, both fantastic working dogs and can be seen working. Delivery possible.   16. Hi, just thought i would say hi to you all, I am new to lamping and ferreting and very keen to learn from others experience. My partner has been working dogs for 10 years but its always good to hear other peoples ways of doing things. I have a whippet pup 4 months old ( obviously i wont be working her for a while yet) so myself and my whippet are learning together. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
