    Went out ferreting with my OH this morning took this before we started out. Only had two rabbits in the end but throughly enjoyed it. The fawn bitch is my OH smooth collie/saluki/greyhound and the brindle is my collie/whippet/greyhound. These are a few photos taken this afternoon of Billy my deerhound/greyhound x beddie/whippet/greyhound and Storm the brindle bitch above.

    My OH uses a greyhound bitch for working, she was fantastic on deer from muntjac to Fallow and fox (pre ban ), but not so good on Hares, because of her old injury from racing years ago. She is known to all those who come down for a bit of sport as number 1 as she out classes the lurchers on deer everytime. Edited by JD

    She was fine for the first week and then all of a sudden all hell broke loose now all she wants to do is fight with our bitches. She has tried to have our greyhound and our greyhounds daughter three times now but is fine with my male lurcher. If we felt we could keep her we would because she really is a smasher but she has already hurt our greyhound. Thats why i said she must only go to live with male dogs as i would rather be honest and tell people what she is like than let her comes to blows with another dog. She will make a great dog just needs a place to live away from other bitches. She h

    My partner has a deerhound/greyhound x collie/greyhound bitch looking for a new home. She is 2 years old, broken/rough coated, brindle and stands at 24-25 inches. We got her from a man in thetford a few weeks ago but unfortunately he did not tell us that she does not get on with other bitches, she is absolutely fine with male dogs. She has seen some work but not with us as we have been trying to put some weight on her and building up her muscle, but she does show promise and is very keen, she is not broken to ferrets.     Just thought i would share these photos with you all. This is Billy with his 1st place rosette he won for the deerhound x class at Kedleston Hall Game Fair last weekend. This is Billy relaxing in the pond at home. I'm really looking forward to the coming season, should be good sport.

    I went too, was a great day out. OH Pup came second in the puppy racing final. My lurcher won the deerhound cross showing class, and he came third with my bitch in the pairs. So proud of all of them.

    Billy had his first show on Saturday at the Suffolk showground. I wasn't expecting to come away with anything but he came third in the rough pup 6-12 months. Looking forward to taking him to some more over the summer before next season starts.
