does it do it away from buildings i.e in a field,if your trying it at home it will pick up all sorts of interference,as i found out with mine i thought it was fooked,it even picks up my mates mobile phone but it's ok with mine,i would try it in the field before you do anything drastic

nice one mate it's good when it's one of them days when everything go's right we couldnt get many to bolt we dug to 8 and had to leave a few that were too deep into the bank

after 2 weeks climbing the walls not being able to get out,we went up to our permission for a good full days ferreting, we did an old railway embankment we knew it was going to be hard going with plenty of digs,first ten minutes 4 in the net they were bolting no problems then the ferrets started killing at depths that were impossible to dig to,we had three ferrets in that we never saw for two and half hours they were constantly on the move it must of been rammed with bunnies leading em a merry dance as the ferrets appeared we swapped them with fresh ferrets eventually we were getting readings

i just ordered 20 nets off him mate,theres a lad wants to have a look at em,im trying to convert him to give up his 4z nets cos there doing me nut in when were on the big hedgerows,they pick up every bit of crap

heres a perfect example for using a locator, yesterday we did a big hedge that ended with a big open bury, the ferrets worked their socks off all day,we were on the last bury,when my mate was looking a little worried,his small jill hadn't shown for ages and she had not got a collar on,we had a few rabbits to dig to so we thought she had laid up and we would find her,but after 3 and half hours no sign of her,worst of all we had bolted a few big rats and thought she had met her match and been killed,when darkness fell we had to make the decision to leave her and return in the morning :sick: ,we

The real issue is that its down to everyone that works in the countryside to educate the idiots that just want to leave footprints in the mud, how about showing them the rabbits already taken and even better, offer them a cleaned rabbit with the advice on how to skin and cook it, its all to easy to carry on complaining about these muppets but what satisfaction you can get from spreading the hunting gospel that the rabbits cause damage, they destroy crops and young trees and all you are doing is helping the farmer, bearing in mind the farmer no doubt subscribes to the said FARM WATCH. well we did the big roadside edge this morning, i had 100 yd longnet out on the roadside and the lads had the purse nets in the field, after about an hour two walkers past us and asked if the big net was used to keep the badgers in , what badgers are them then i replied we are ferreting for rabbits and off they walked any way i said to my mate i bet they saw countryfile last week an think we're after badgers, within 20 mins a land rover pulls up asking what we were up to, guess what it's only the north yorks police farm watch and they've had a report that some blokes were after badgers, after

as the title says we are doing a long hedge tommorrow,it has loads of holes on the field side and plenty of bolt holes on the road side, so the long net will be out on the road side,now this is a narrow lane but has a lot of traffic with people travelling backwards and forwards to the hotel at the top,so the bunny huggers wil be out in force shouting their usual abuse as they drive past, now last time we did this field someone called the old bill so lets hope it's going to be worth it! i'll let you know how we get on

they were the only two burrows left the dozer had leveled the rest,thats what happens when you miss a week but where the dozer finished off it lightly covered the holes at the top of the set so we lost a few but shit happens an we'll get em next time weve got a big juicy hedge to do on saturday thats teaming with em, it's going to be hard work but the results will be worth it
