  1. Last week i posted saying that my ferret had a lump on the lower side of his jaw, well even with antibiotics, we lost ! The last couple of days i have spent with him, he detoriated a little more each day, and this morning i took him to the vets and he was put down. for those of you who gave advice thankyou very much. can't say that i am not completly gutted, it was cancer / lymphoma so the prognosis was not good. All i am worried about now is weather or not his sister will pine. I am trying to locate another two ferrets one hob and two jills to try an introduce them. once again thanks f
  2. its probally cheaper in the long run to buy, but i sit in the evening making my own nets it was the first thing i taught myself, and its true you can have conformity but you can also amke 5 small 5 large 3 medium 2 odd shape so you can suit yourself, i have not been involved in ferreting very long, but i can already see the benefits of making your own, i have bought some of e-bay but they were crap and i had to modify them anyway. your choice, sometimes its not just about cost.
  3. £54.50 for each visit and each time with a shot of antibiotics plus blood tests and antibiotics to take home 2 weeks supply cheers for your reply
  4. thanks Sue, Stubby, and Kay, its not an abcess as its solid and the fert is in no pain at all, the vet took bloods the first time and said it looked like an infection of some sort, i guess well have to wait and see give it time and all that, Stubby so far the bill is up to £109.00 thats two visits, one on a saturday, two lots of AB'S two check ups (no weight loss) and blood tests so in all i dont think i am getting overcharged to much Happy new year to all
